Cameron, you and your crew are "THE TITANIUM TEAM" of car builders. It's obvious that people get more than their money's worth having seen the quality of work that comes out of your shop! I gave PRENUP a really close look last season and was beyond impressed with your work. I drag raced, starting in the mid 80's, and have been involved as a HUGE FAN since I stopped racing in the late 90's. The only thing that was old on big chiefs car was the body after he had the promod. Ever since to stay competitive they all went with tubular chassis and basically full blown racing parts. That's when I stopped watching Street Outlaws and been waiting for them to return to street but they really never have cause everyone else is running tubular chassis and full blown racing parts with engines on the streets. Now I don't think anyone I'd streets racing other than JJ Da Boss and even he has the tubular chassis. I personally don't think cars with tubular chassis is street cars. To me a street car is a car built with a frame and a race engine, transmission, rearend put into place.

@@crazylarryjr that’s a really good point. It’s always expensive to try and be the fastest. If a person is ok on having fun on the weekends and not being the best, it can be done much cheaper. Let’s face it, an old tube chassis car and a strong crate motor can go 7’s nowadays. That can all be had for far far less money, but you aren’t going to win your class. Remember when running 10’s took money? Now people are buying junkyard motors and dropping a little nitrous to do that.

@@mcb0b1, Now a days you can do it on stock chassis with bolt-ons, don't even need a tube chassis. Kevin At KSR is hitting 7's with stock alumnium block LS and leaf springs with that blue camaro he races. He is on the ragged edge of the engine, but it does it

I don't think it is so much the price that shocks, as much as it is the amount of hours that go into building something like this that causes the price to be what it is. Precision takes time. I am helping a friend build an ICV (Individually Constructed Vehicle) at the moment, and some days we only get a few bars done on the chassis in a day. A lot of time is spent measuring and discussing the best way to achieve the end goal. Custom is exactly that custom, not an assembly line.
