Gotta hand it to you Cameron. Having the guts to start using components (titanium) when others were leary is one of the things that set you apart. A desire to be the best must be at the forefront. Patience, hard work, more hours than you'll ever be paid for and continuing to strive for that reputation for the highest quality will come to you ten fold. You've already come far and have a GREAT REPUTATION. NEVER LET UP!! Ensure that NOTHING GOES OUT THE DOOR that isn't the highest quality CJRC can deliver. True, your team are invaluable but it is for you that they do their best. You steer the shop, they provide the fuel. Duplicate yourself.

I really appreciate the aspect of trying to keep the cars as "factory-ish" looking as possible without appearing to be just a purpose built monstrosity of a race car. I think my favorite example of that concept is Doug Cook's Nova. I just love that car. Thanks for sharing your story!

Awesome story man, I have a very similar story growing up fabricating at a young age. I started my welding shop company back in 2020 & now I’m doubling in growth every year. I’m in central Florida brother, instead of racing my niche is High end custom Staircases, Railings, range hoods, awnings etc. my clients are the mega wealthy & their new construction custom homes 🤙 very similar but different. I’m a craftsman myself, all my shop’s fabrication has to be perfect or it’s not acceptable! I’m at the highest level in architectural & ornamental metal work basically.

I like idea at the end of doing these kinds of videos for other people in the shop. Judging from your other videos like when you guys had the BBQ lunch some would me more open to that than others but it would be nice for everyone to share what they are comfortable with. It's amazing how you've grown your business and how you're able to see things to keep things growing but also control that growth to meet your vision of keeping the quality. It's very inspiring and that attitude has definitely rubbed off on the guys that are doing a lot of the work in previous videos. Great video as always and thanks for sharing!

Man Cameron you just blew my mind. A few weeks ago I commented asking for a video like this, so I'm already stoked to see this pop up. But then you got to the part about quitting your job at the nuke plant and my jaw dropped. I spent 14 years as a mechanical maintainer technician in nuclear power plants in Canada, and I quit when I was 33, about two years ago. I sold all my shit, hopped on my dirtbike and rode it down to Belize, where I'm in the early stages of starting a hot sauce company. I'm growing my own peppers and making the sauce 🌶️ Not too many people quit their cushy power plant jobs, it takes balls to leave security behind for an uncertain future. I love your channel, you and your team are artists and thank you for showing us what you do!! I came here because of Cleetus but I'm definitely sticking around to see what's next 🔥🔥🔥
