My flat rate fee for home charging is $.09, way better than $600+ a month I was doing in my truck.

My energy plan is free nights after 8pm. I’ve spent $200 total which was mostly supercharging for a total of 17.5k miles

Yeah but the big factor for electricity is which state you live in . Electricity in California is way high but then again gas prices are to. Now 45 cent per kilowatt at a Cali supercharger and the Home Ev Rate for PGE during off peak hours is 20 cents.

I’m a new Model 3 RWD owner. For what it’s worth, there’s about a 10% energy loss between the “charger” and the car so you’re actually paying about 10% more. Fairly trivial when you’re paying $0.11/kWh. So for an average gallon of gas of $3.50, that $3.50 buys me about 56 miles of range (assuming 4miles/kWh). I’m paying $0.25/kWh this summer. It was $0.34/kWh in the winter. Eversource of Connecticut has requested a $0.04 increase in delivery charges. Teslas are great and have great tech, but don’t have the interior luxury of a Mercedes, in my opinion. Teslas are way closer to Honda Accords in interior appointments .
