Brilliant video. Reminds me of a late neighbour of mine I knew when I was 15years old,who would wear a flat cap, 2piece work clothes,a waist coat,and boots,and helped him clean bricks for the front wall he was rebuilding. Sad what happened to Fred's machinery and engine's.

Thank you for the video. I think I've seen all of Fred's videos then a gem like this pops up. It's always a joy to watch Fred at work with his mates. A true British pioneer. What made me laugh today when walking home was seeing 2 workmen on a BT mast with the ladder strapped to the post and the guys wearing climbing gear. This mast was only 25 or 30 feet up. Fred would have been up there fast.

@@spoony01428 leon pownsey who had the house made it into a heritage centre ,decided to move shop sell tools at auction and sell things on Ebay claiming to be Freds old shirts beer cans etc . Pithead gone in back yard now but that gone to a Museum which is good at least .

joe GasKill at least it has a riving knife. Me mates grandads one was just a skilly screwed under a table. Took his thumb too, silly bugger. Scrapped it when he passed. Couldn't bear the thought of someone else coming to grief using it.
