Kaela cannot get mad at that because her dad married into money. As a parent myself, we tend to raise our children as we were raised. Todd was raised to work hard for what he has. Kandi has had money since she was a teen. So Riley knows nothing but money. My husband and I were raised totally different so I do not mind giving our kids what I think they deserve because that is what my mom did. My husband wants them to earn every little thing. It is crazy! Parenting battles!

Then in the previous episode Todd's daughter said that he doesn't express any emotion towards her unless he is upset with her..smh..wow. So what i'm seeing is that because Todd doesn't know how to be a dad to Kayla, Kandi pretty much reciprocated the same energy then Riley and Ace followed along(of course Ace is going to say no when it comes to missing Kayla because he doesn't have a relationship with her). It's like she's a distant cousin living in the house that is over staying her welcome but nobody wants to say anything though because like or not she's family. Truthfully how sad. Todd doesn't even realize that his daughter feels completely left out of his new life with Kandi. So because Todd treated Kayla like an outsider that's how Kandi's side treats her. It's like Todd wants Kayla to be and have this independent mindset but then wasn't around in her life to teach her that responsibility. Riley isn't delusional she sees the way Todd is with Kayla and how he wasn't present in her life before so that could possibly remind her of her own father's absence which makes her distant towards him as well.I'm sorry but i couldn't be to happy in relationship/marriage where both daughters do not like their dad/stepdad. I bet it's even awkward for Kayla toget food out of the fridge. Kayla is in her 20s she needs to try some type of counseling to help with her issues so she can find her sense of independence eventually since Todd isn't doing so. Just sayin.."

Todd needs to get it together or his daughter will further resent him. The bottom line is he’s living a certain lifestyle and I guarantee the two kids you all have will live a certain lifestyle but somehow his first child is “unworthy” of that and needs to earn it. How does that work? Also he still seems fairly detached from fatherhood with Kaela and I know it might be due to him coming into her life later but he needs to work on that. She’s not his homie she’s his daughter and a daughter is one of the works most precious gifts and should be nurtured, loved and treated as such.

@@JuanitaMichelle it's not too late either. Todd will have to initiate the repair. He could start by sending texts saying he's just checking in on her and ask brief questions about school; not mentioning anything about else and then closing by saying that he's proud of her loves her once a week to start with. Then slowly increasing the texts over time. Bombarding her with suddenly would not seem genuine. If she opens up and responds they can build on the verbal communication. Also he will have to apologize for not meeting her emotional needs; whether he thinks he has or not because she's young. Yes she's "technically" an adult but these feelings developed as a child; therefore, the parent needs to apologize to heal the emotional wound. Then they can build a new adult father/daughter relationship that is strong and loving. I've seen it work. However the older she gets the harder it will be; but it's not impossible.

Facts. And staying in their house walking around not speaking for months to nobody is disrespectful. It’s a deeper issue going on. She needs to speak about what’s really bothering her. Walking around thinking somebody owes you ain’t it

I agree with Todd's parenting style. He is trying to keep her grounded and have the tools to survive as if they werent around. Most likely Riley wont because of the different bringing up. Thats Kandi money and theirs no guarantees Kaela will be straight forever (financially)just because she is connected now because of her age and was still in the home...If there is a break up, Riley will forever be good..Kaela will be an after thought and needs to be able to know how to get her own. Survival mode.. Its always been clear that Todd and Kandi were not on the same page with how Kandi helps or pays for her mom and over spoiling Riley just because..He is just practical and it has to make sense to him. I get it. I get the respect part and still living at home with grown adults and rules..It can be a nightmare. They really need to go.

Around the 7 minute mark Kandi's body language is like "pay bills in a millionaires home"...😑.

Todd seems like he is fighting fire with fire. Because she is mad instead of finding out why, you get mad back?? You're the father of a young woman. It's different. You have to handle her with care.
