Where do people get their confidence at such a young age ? It’s because they grew up in a functional loving home .. Unfortunately I never experienced that , watching this girl makes me realize that the life these confident youngsters live is pure luck being born into the right family, the right parents who love and nurture , life is unfair and it’s as if certain people were chosen for greatness and certain people were chose for abuse disfunction and failure , what the H€ll is up with that , it’s depressing

Did I hear her right? SHe's in a Fame type TV series called Rise but has to play a Latina character "Suarez"? Why couldn't she play a character from the islands (Hawaii)?? Where she's actually from. Sounds like Hollywood...while they've come a long way in having culturally more diverse casts...they're also still NOT acknowledging some cultures. Unless the show NEEDS diversity (e.g. Hawaii 5-0). I came across some LA based small talk show..which was slamming Steven Segal...a tabloid type show I guess or that was their spin...what struck me was a 70's racist comment one male host made...that Segal was dressed l"...like a Charlie Chan...". Segal in a photo was wearing some kind of traditional Asian top. Looked ridiculous but still..I couldn't believe that comment. You can find that video on KZbin. 2 white guys 1 woman. the other two just went along with it. What struck me also was...they were going at it berating Segal...mocking him...Segal who was a 7th or 8th degree black belt and the "..first non-Asian to open a school in Japan in Aikido" was for real. In that respect. He is a real martial arts master. One part of his past that wasn't fabricated. Did it not down on them that Segal is 5'4 and still very capable of a martial artist?? :) Would most of us in our right mind want to PO some known martial arts master, former pro-boxer..etc.?? :) Death wish. :) But I digress..
