When I saw that picture of horses in your hotel room I instantly thought "that's so Texas" where upon you then said basically the same thing, great minds... Glad you got a Florida beach visit with decent weather and water after the last two to Pensacola and PCB where it was either cloudy and windy or featured rip currents.

Hi Julia! Thought I’d share some random flight attendant story I experienced yesterday flying home from Cayo Santa Maria Cuba (a layover I highly recommend for amazing calm,warm, white sandy beaches!) So the fa’s were doing their drink service and a rude passenger wanted to get by them by giving them no personal space and being mouthy. Finally the one fa turned around and told her to back off and let them finish their service properly! I’m so glad the fa’s stood their ground and told the passenger off! I hope you don’t ever get abused doing your job, Julia!

I love how positive your videos always are! I've seen turtles hatch in Australia - it was magical. I'd also say that the prettiest beaches I've seen were also in Hawaii (Kauai) and around the Great Barrier Reef(Lady Elliot Island) in Australia 🏖

You asked for favorite beaches. I like them all. Maui is always fantastic - and really anywhere in HI. We've cruised around the world a couple of times, and my favorite snorkeling spot was in Moorea, French Polynesia. It was incredible. We've done beaches all over, and also catamaran snorkel excursions. Step up to the catamarans to really see the tropical fish and the reefs while they still exist! My daughter graduated from DU, so I am glad to have that connection with you. She married a man who grew up near Altoona, PA, and now we are all in the process of becoming Pennsylvanians instead of Coloradoans. We've also enjoyed having 3 goldens over the years. You are a beautiful young woman, and I enjoy your vlogs since I spent many years flying all over the USA for work. Unlike you, my work began when I arrived, so I rarely got to fully enjoy the destinations that I was sent to.

My favorite of your videos. Rolling with the punches, then a rewarding layover enjoying the water and the beach. I have to agree, Hawaiian beaches are the prettiest I’ve seen and because of that turquoise. Somehow the water at tropical beaches seem more clear as well.

Beaches in West Maui are amazing. Beaches in Greek islands are too. My favorite, if I’m totally honest, is the beach at Cannes in the French Riviera. Other beaches in that region are all stones. Cannes is all sand…smooth as ever. If you ever get the chance….do it. Take Eric, you won’t want him to miss it.

My favorite beach was Half Moon Cay, which was a stop on our Caribbean Cruise. It was stop you pretty. Like, so pretty!! You wouldn’t know how beautiful unless you saw it in person.

I also get that serene, peaceful feeling when I am in the water as well. I have been to many wonderful beaches but my favorite are Arashi Beach in Aruba, Bahia Honda State Park in the Florida Keys, Clearwater Beach near Tampa, & Hilton Head, SC. Love watching your videos!

This looked like a great layover despite the chaos! I agree that the beach you mentioned in Maui is beautiful - have been there myself and the undertow there is no joke! The most beautiful beach and water I have ever seen though was in Tulum, Mexico - this was before it became a hipster enclave but there is definitely a reason people love it. The water is calm and that beautiful turquoise color (several shades) and the sand was white, so soft and cool. It's definitely worth a visit even if you're not 'hip' lol. Take care!

I haven’t been yet but the Beach I’m looking forward to visiting is the Island of Paros in Greece. My dad’s family comes from there and I cannot wait to get in touch with my roots. Most interesting beach I’ve had the opportunity to visit is in Barcelona; I just love the contrast of being in an urban center but 20 minutes away is this beautiful stretch of beach that welcomes all walks of life.

Having flown millions of miles the words "roll with the punches" are absolutely essential. Positive attitudes with gate agents, airline staff and crew always worked best for me. Best wishes on your move to PA and have a very Happy Birthday. My favorite beach was at Grand Cayman Island.

I've been to many beaches in the Caribbean and Pacific and even a few in Australia. Hard to say which is the most beautiful, but for some reason, a beach on the north coast of Culebra, small island between Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, stands out in my mind. You had to hike down to it, through rugged brush and barely any trail at the time in 1994. So that kept out the riff-raff. I was there, in February, and there was absolutely NO ONE there. Just the wind, the sun, the turquoise, the silence other than the wind and surf. I've checked maps. The beach was either Playa Resaca or Playa Brava. I vote Playa Brava if I had to choose. It's one or the other. They are adjacent to each other. Your next Puerto Rico trip, try to make it over there. I took a puddle-jumper that landed at the small airport.

This was most certainly not boring Julia! I love the snippets of your life out and about, all the different hotels & beaches. My favourite beach is in Northern Ireland…. White Rocks near a little port called Portrush! It’s unlikely you’ll ever fly into Belfast International airport, but if you do a trip up the north coast would be well worth it!

Well for me the overall best beach I've ever been to was Magens Bay Beach USVI. Just incredible sand, water and views. Next was Playa De Virgen Del Mar in Rota, Spain but I just can't leave out Destin beaches. From east to west Destin has the best beaches in America in my opinion. Thanks for this episode!

I too love Ft Lauderdale for the nice hotels on the beach. And the restaurants are amazing and so many to choose from. My favorite beach is actually Wakakki in Hawaii. But I really haven’t been to many lol.
