Real heroes are seldom remembered. Only charlatans and shady characters hog people's minds.

@@jackieroberts7895 I'm English and genuinely can't disagree with you. I had no idea who nye bevan was or what he had achieved until very recently. It's criminal that this man isn't more celebrated.

Bevan was a man of integrity, principle and passion - our current crop of politicians are bacterial life in comparison.

Aneurin Bevan, the south wales lad. In valleys deep and mountains high, Aneurin Bevan's spirit doth fly. A champion of the common man, A beacon bright in life's grand plan. With heart aflame and soul on fire, He fought for justice, pure and entire. For healthcare free, a nation's dream, A testament to his noble scheme. Through trials and tribulations he stood, A steadfast rock, a guiding wood. His legacy, a shining light, A testament to his moral might. So let us raise a glass to Bevan's name, A hero true, without a stain. Whose vision lives, a guiding star, Inspiring millions, near and far.

Aneurin Bevan, the People's Champion A beacon of hope in a world of strife, Aneurin Bevan, a champion of life. He fought for the masses, the poor, and the weak, A voice for the voiceless, a leader to seek. With passion and fervor, he fought for their cause, For healthcare and housing, and just, equitable laws. He dreamed of a nation where all would be free, From want and from sickness, from misery. But tragedy struck, and his journey was cut short, A heart that had given so much, no longer could support. Yet his legacy lives on, a shining example to see, Of courage and compassion, and selfless decree. So let us remember, this man of the people, Whose spirit will forever inspire and rekindle. Aneurin Bevan, a hero of our time, Whose name will forever be etched in the rhyme.

Aneurin Bevan, Architect of Hope From coal-dark valleys, where the spirit burned, A champion rose, his heart for all concerned. Aneurin Bevan, with a fiery tongue, For justice fought, where wrongs had long been clung. He dreamt of health, a right for every one, A shield from sickness, beneath the setting sun. The NHS, his masterpiece, a crown of gold, Where healing hands would work, stories yet untold. A voice of reason, in a tempest's roar, He stood for fairness, forevermore. Aneurin Bevan, a beacon in the night, Whose legacy shines bright, a guiding light.
