Wow, thank you so much for bringing us along to the hidden places of Patan. Simply amazing architecture (love love love all the wooden carvings) and atmosphere. I still have to visit this place (I know, I know... I am still a newbie to Nepal haha). Oh, and I totally agree about randomly 'getting lost': It somehow always seems to be the best strategy to find all the cool places (at least from my experience :-)).

I am happy you liked it. Me too, I am a huge fan of the Newari architecture. Patan is full of surprises. Best way to explore is to get lost. I agree with you, getting lost is the best strategy to find cool places. See you soon in Nepal! 🤗

Min nath is not the brother of Machhindranath. Minnath existed before Machhindranath. Both are not hindu gods rather Bodhisattavas which were later adopted by hindu (Nath followers). And copper utensils are not offered for marriage. Rather offering in name of dead person for next life.
@ParisMeetsKathmandu Жыл бұрын
Thank you very much for explaining about Minnath. ☺️ Regarding the copper utensils, I heard both, that they were offered in the name of dead people for the next life and also for happy marriage?

5:21 Vajra signifies semen.

I didn't know. I thought it was a powerful weapon!

@@ParisMeetsKathmandu Most Hindus they don't know metaphoric symbols. Hindus in India and Nepal they worship Shiva, and imagine Shiva, as they see in pictures. 😝😝😝Shiva is simply a penis.
@station22482 жыл бұрын
Of course Vajra is as powerful as nuclear. It creates living beings.
