Hello David! Thanks for the valuable information about Danville. I am retired and looking to rent, a nice apartment or house with a yard. Jersey has been good to me, but everyone has grown and gone. Tennessee looks nice, but Danville looks nicer and even more affordable. Thanks again!

I would say explore all small towns outside of major cities to have the best of both worlds. For Danville you have 3 ranging from 45 minutes to 1 hour and 1 and a half hour away. I would look at this when considering any town in N.C. Easily accessible to the mountains and beach if that's your thing.
