Carter's mom Beyoncé is among the few pop artists alongwith MJ (yes, I said it) who were popular AF and deservingly so, because they both were talented and creative. MJ was also kind of shy and his interviews show him as a very humble personality. However, the media juiced out of him and he kept giving his all...not realizing that the assholes he was giving his all to didn't deserve it. Here's where Beyonce took his baton and learnt a great lesson, she needs to take care of herself first. She's a singer songwriter and performer...that's it and that's what she gives to the best of her abilities. She doesn't waste her energy in fake ass interviews devoid of substance and cringy. She will outlive MJ and will carry his legacy forward....in fact, she has been doing so since the late 1990s. Her and Bruno Mars are the queen and king of our generation's pop music, take that and shove it in your burnt asses dear haters!

I can agree with people who think she is overrated, because she is popular AF (that too consistently for over 2 decades now) and people may be jealous because of it. It's amazing how she's managed to keep a private life all while being a public figure. Let's be clear, you only know what she has allowed you to know. That's dope AF. If a lot of these artists took that approach, their crown would never shift or fall off their heads. Luxury vehicles don't need to advertise for you to come and purchase them... Intelligence is relative. I have met a quantum physics professor, who could not hold a simple everyday conversations or know how to do tête-à-tête in a party. I have also met a ballerina who does not know what 'a square root' means but can name the capital of each country in the world... and their location in the world's map! So, tell me again what intelligence is, when Trump is the US president. Beyonce can sing. She can dance. She can perform. Her music is art and she puts her talent, time, hardwork and soul in it. I am not a huge fan but I appreciate her (and other artists such as Madonna, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Nikki Minaj, Adele.. or any other artist on that level - I have no idea what's happening these days , in pop music), contributions to the world of music, especially pop music. 👏 So true. People who are mathematically intelligent usually don't do well with language. I was terrible at writing but I always aced my math classes without studying or trying. I have great spelling but horrible grammar. My writing teachers used to get so frustrated with me. I found that reading does help your grammar though. When I was in my college writing class I was reading the song if ice and fire series and it helped a lot. I barely passed but I got through it. Lol

Beyoncé is the only artist in today’s Industry that manages herself and is a owner of her own company while doing so. No one. Beyoncé has pushed the envelope that now has people like Taylor, Drake,etc. doing the same. Beyoncé been in the industry way longer and has more freedom than any of y’all’s favorite artist combined. This she’s “not smart” dig y’all try to do to her is anti-black and racist that also has no background to state. She’s also one of the few artists to have her diploma and did it while having a #1 single with a Grammy, with a song she wrote about independent women all at the age of 18.

I think she doesn’t interview simply because she doesn’t want to. To have a different person ask her the same prying questions, probably a waste of time when she’d rather be productive or doing something else. She doesn’t have to promote herself or her work, she doesn’t want to explain anything that we don’t understand & there isn’t much that she needs to talk about that’s not already out there. I still admire the mystery/privacy some celebrities have since social media has given us such an “intimate” view of them nowadays.

I remember when she went through a depressive state during the breakup of the original Destiny's Child members and how she was the target of the media and was blamed for the split of the group. After her solo career, she made a genius move of not giving too much interviews to the press. It's so smart, that people always speculate about the things that she's gonna do and obsess about everything, and she doesn't even have to say a word. What a Queen.

I think that the real reason she doesn't do interviews is because ppl and the media are too critical over the smallest details. I don't think she is dumb at all! Actually, I really think she is super intelligent as hell. Let's keep it real! I have met and even worked with people (specifically caucasians) in corporate America who believe that people (specifically African Americans) speak with any hint of slang or a different dialect from other states such as FL, NC, Texas, Mississippi, etc are dumb. Therefore, Beyonce was not going to change that part of her for no one and literally stop doing interviews but remain vocal through the use of her music. This was a extremely smart move because the media nor anyone could make preconceive notions about her and allow others to make formulate their opinions and stories until she was ready to address it. And when she did address anything....Remember Beyonce is a southern woman and passive aggressive so she uses subtlety to make statements without making a statement. This is what's her Queen Bee which created the Beehive. I think it is genius! I wish more artist allow their work be their guiding force while remaining humble and still make addressing social issues and personal issues in this matter. My two cents is done!
