Linderbaum has had at least 3 bad snaps this season. I will not blame Lamar on that fumble because he did the same thing against the Bengals off a bad snap and scored a TD. The media praised him for it. Now they wanna criticize. Can we get a Center to snap the ball correctly??

@@ybkid6513he literally did the same thing on the run where he breaks the tackle of #50 on his scramble in this game. Not just months ago. Shooters shoot. You have to live sometimes with Steph or Kobe missing the crazy shots they would take that you’d lambast a normie for attempting. You live by the sword, you die by the sword. I blame Lamar for that interception. It was entirely his mistake and a turnover. The fumble 9/10 is a snap that a less athletic QB doesn’t catch at all… and it still ends up a big play. Lamar NEARLY salvaged it. If he breaks that shoe string, he’s got daylight for a 20 yard gain. Two things can be true. He can’t turn the ball over there, but he also nearly always makes that play same as the times he throws across his body (which you’re also taught not to do). I say he should keep doing the same thing… just temper it in terrible conditions. If we play that game the week before or the week after, I think we win by 10, but football isn’t played in a dome for this exact reason. Weather, preparation, and decision making is a great equalizer. Harbaugh didn’t have the team prepared and Lamar, Andrews, and Linderbaum all made key mistakes that cost the team.

No blame is needed? If you don't blame people If you don't find reasons for losses, you can't fix anything, if you don't identify the problem... Lamar is always a Big Problem in each of his 5 losses.. He's never lost cause his team let him down.... He is always the reason the team is in a hole in the playoffs .. Lamar is a great front runner.. But the moment situations get tough, the guy simply chokes...

Harbaugh chose not to prepare in the elements, not knowing that when your hands are cold it's hard to grab or hold onto things. Bro.... Ravens scored 7 points through 3 quarters... versus Chiefs.... and also had a fumble and a pick.... just like every playoff loss... a fumble and a pick... every time...if any other qb scores 7 points through 3 quarters and has a pick and a fumble... he isn't applauded as being good... Lamar's standard of playing g good is very low... 7 points through 3 qtrs... and 1 pick and 1 fumble?? That's good?? Even if Zay scores a TD... ITS 17-17... AND mahomes doesn't kneel in FG RANGE at the end... instead hMthey kick it, and they beat all guys... again.. I'm sorry 17 points isn't much when paired with a turnover and a pick... And every QB has players who fail... Lamar simply needs to have more scores... and less turnovers... and not be a big part of the problem.... every postseason.

Chase, have trouble with the nomenclature but love your knowledge and energy. I am a hooked Raven fan from Boston. Regarding Lamar’s fumble, the high wide snap from center forced him to over concentrate on the ball and not the defensive charge. Once with the ball under control he then saw a huge amount of grass to his inside right for him to gobble up and only Hamlin. He thought he could accelerate by Hamlin who instead made one of the defensive plays of the game by tackling Lamar who was just starting his engines to blow past Hamlin’s right side. Hamlin just caught Lamar on his right hip was strong enough to hold on spinning Lamar to his right during which he lost the ball. Had Lamar’s instincts been right he wound have made a huge gain who knows how far with Lamar’s ability. I think that this essential tackle by Hamlin was as big a game changer as the punch out of Anderson arms. Not quite as dramatic as last year’s punch out of Flowers just inches before crossing the goal line. Buffalo’s defense made things happen, the dropped balls and then maybe the greatest gift of all the PI on the 5 yard line in the first half on a third down and 5! Without that, it’s maybe 10 - 7 Baltimore going into the half. I don’t know. In spite of the cold and snow things went well till they didn’t. Ravens as always gave us an exciting game to watch. 3 turnovers to 0 to a very opportunistic opponent cost the game, the conference, a matchup with the hated Chiefs and made a lot of disgruntled fans. Next year, let’s don’t mess around and have a better record than Buffalo and play these guys in Baltimore where the weather might be more accommodating and if there are any turnovers may they be on the Bills. Ravens thanks as always for the great show. Next time we will put this insolent group of pretenders away. Go Ravens.

The game should have been a win for the Ravens. Playcalling was VERY suspect. After the Bateman dime to the 2yd line, you gotta run Henry 3x times and punch it in. Monken got too cute, ran some play action and the OLine didn't block well, causing a sack. That to me, was the turning point. If that is converted into a TD, Ravens win this game. Let's not even mention that horrible OPI on Coleman. How that is called is beyond me. If you're gonna throw a flag, it can't be DPI. Or just let them play, even the announcers and ref on the broadcast said it was a bad call. Bills fans say, "well they called a bad holding call on us earlier!!!". Sure, but this flag set them up with essentially 1st & goal. Another back breaker of bad officiating. And Lamar got waxed OOB, if it was Allen or Mahomes, it's 100% a flag. You can't let that go, but also call some bogus DPI. Ravens shot themselves in the foot multiple times, but as per usual a bad call gifted a free TD to the opposing team. Ravens and the Texans understand what it's like to constantly be on the wrong side of horrible calls.

The Lamar int didn't hurt Ravens at all. Was a deep ball and Bills ended up punting it back again. The 2 fumbles though and a couple big drops by Henry and Andrews is what hurt the Ravens. Bills only had one decent drive in the 2nd half. Ravens had a very good chance of stopping them from getting a FG in the last 90 seconds based on how the rest of the half had gone. And the Ravens were the much better team in the 2nd half, with all of the momentum. OT definitely would have favored the Ravens. The analytics showed the Ravens as highly favored if Andrews had caught the 2pt conversion. But football is a 4 quarters game and the Bills caused the Ravens to dig themselves into a hole in the first half that they couldn’t get out of. Hats off to the Bills for playing a clean game and doing enough to hold onto the victory. Good luck in Arrowhead.

I watched the entire game, Lamar underthrew/threw low and behind on both costly drops, which were to two big men...those are some of the hardest passes to catch for big men, low and behind. To me both of those (the Henry drop that may have gone for a TD rather than a change of possession and the TE drop for the two point conversion) are on Lamar for not throwing them a catchable ball. Then there was the chuck to the Bill's safety. All three are on Lamar. I actually don't fault him for the fumble, as he was trying to make a play with his legs, which are elite and without him running ail over the field, the ravens offense would be middling. Lamar lost this game from the pocket.

Lamar doesn't lead the receivers. He doesn't hit them in stride. Recievers were flipping around or diving all day to make these "vicinity"catches. Lamar running around leads to great plays off platform. But, some of these "catchable" balls thrown low and behind marginal receivers will be dropped, or fumbled. Especially by running backs and tight ends.😢

Because of the momentum swing, and the fact it's playoff football. A coach with hole field adv will not be as aggressive unless somethings there, thus a tie is more probable. That said u just saw ravens march all 4th, so if they get the ball first they probably score.
@davemeni
@davemeni 9 күн бұрын
Ravens had all the momentum and were the much better team in the second half. Bills had one decent drive, 2 punts and a drive that started in FG range and stalled. They ignore the 90 seconds because most people couldn’t picture the Bills getting into FG range with the way the 2nd half was going. Analytics showed Ravens as highly favored if Andrews had caught the 2pt conversion, likely because of how dominant they were in the 2nd half. But none of that matters because Andrews didn’t catch the ball so we’ll never know if the Bills would have defied the analytics or not.

U hate that both Derrick Henry and Andrews dropped those balls, but to be honest Lamar shot-put both balls (aka short armed) and had the receiver waiting, and they were low. Sorry, but there are no excuses for those drops. Brady and Manning didn't always throw perfect balls but they expected their receivers to catch it if it hit their hands. Those catches didn't look that difficult, especially the throw to Andrews. That's a catch going to the ground to cradle with your body. He double clutched for no reason and bobbled the ball. Just no excuses for that, and he knows it. Hasn't faced the media since. Lamar took it like a man and faced the music, called himself out for throwing the interception and fumbling. Henry and Andrews have to accept responsibility for those drops.

Two things can be true. The balls were catch-able, but were also low. So there's blame on both the QB and receiver in those cases, mostly the receiver but the QB can't skate, because if the ball is higher the catch% goes way up.

@@rahsaanmckell-jeffers5647 If I threw a ball at you 60mph at your knees, the difficulty of that catch is high. If I made the same throw at your chest the difficulty factor to catch is lower. It is a fact that catch rate is affected by ball placement. Not debateable. You clearly jumped to conclusion. I said clearly that both balls should have been caught. With that said, the difficulty of both catches was higher than if made above the waist. It's very simple. Lamar (like any QB) can make their balls easier to catch with better placement. At heart Lamar is an option QB, instinctually he wants to process options almost at his leisure - like with the first and last TD. You’re never going to completely stop Lamar, however in certain spots you have to heat him up and speed up his processing and 2-4 times a game you can get him to glitch out and force throws and/or make errors scrambling. This is what teams sought to do to Josh Allen years ago. But because Lamar is so much more agile the temptation for him to rescue plays is greater. Ultimately the run game is Lamars best friend because it keeps defenses on their heels and affords Lamar more time to process options when passing - and he is so much more deadly than most in those situations. It’s easier said than done but the way to stymie Lamar Jackson is to blitz the run on the way to the QB.

In the playoffs…good teams will always beat Lamar with this strategy: 1) Let Lamar be Lamar, giving him his amazing highlight SportsCenter plays throughout the game 2) Score as many or more points as the Ravens just to keep pace 3) Because you feed Lamar’s ego by giving him SportsCenter plays…confuse him with different defensive looks, so that the Superman in him leads to stupid decisions. Lamar is so entrenched in his own ego, he’s his own worst enemy. Judging by the way he carries himself with his hood street persona, this will never change…leaving Baltimore empty like its own inner city. Thats it in a nutshell. Regular season games meh…playoffs completely different animal. So yea Ravens fans, rewatch the film gloating over his incredible Superman plays in this game. Yet it’s also the real Achilles heel that you fans and Lamar can’t get over to be SB champs.

Lamar is not the problem, but he is a part of the problem. The ravens problem was that they made more unforced errors than the bills. The 3 turnovers were all terrible and they had a lot of drops. I don’t think this game hurt Lamar and his playoff image, but it definitely didn’t correct the notion that he plays one of his worst games every year in the playoffs. He had a couple of mistakes besides those turnovers that people seem to be missing though. He took a sack when it was 2nd and 2 at the goaline and lead to 3rd and 8, that took what should've been a TD and made it a FG. You can't take that sack, he should've thrown that ball away, big mistake that cost them 4 points. He also threw the ball towards Matt Milano on the first 2pt Con where Milano was able to swipe it down, super costly. He had impressive drives in the 2nd half and to start the game, but that's too many mistakes from your QB to beat the Bills in Buffalo.
