I say that same thing. DISCIPLINE is more important than motivation and willpower. Discipline will get you where you need to be.

Time heals you need time. It's not gonna go away overnight. But this had to happen for the right person to appreciate you. For you to get to know yourself and what you like and do not like and want in your next relationship. To be able to date yourself and appreciate you for a while. And the ultimate if he's really the man that the most high wants you with, he can see what he had and messed up and come back correct and more mature. I don't know your story, but this is your testimony, and you will get through it. Stay positive.

Fantastic conversation!!! This helps people to see that it’s not necessarily your fault when someone cheats. It’s no excuse for cheating but lack of discipline is a major reason. It’s also why we should make sure that the opposite sex has moral values and not just out there!

Hi Tiff & Hubby, (sorry I can’t remember your name.) I wanted to confess that I was subscribed here because of your other channel but never listened … I don’t particularly like podcasts because they are so long. I prefer videos because they can be 10/20 minutes and I like to see while I’m listening. However I had some chores to finish and wanted something to help me feel motivated to complete them. More importantly I wanted to know the answer so I listened completely. Up until I heard the final answer I thought it would be something Tiff said. Although I have not cheated on anyone I always wanted to know why it happened to me. I was given Crapy reasons so I rejected those and came up with something that made sense to me… (Long distance relationships.) I guess it comforted me to believe it wasn’t something I did wrong. The revelation that I received at the end has me reeling… It opened my eyes to allowed me to question myself. I have accepted that I don’t have self discipline in every aspect of my life. I wasn’t aware that it really mattered. I thought that if you have self discipline in one area of your life you could check the box as “yes” I have it. I didn’t dig deeper. It’s missing when I over shop, over sleep, over eat, call out from work, quit on my new yr. resolution, skip Bible study, flake on my family… CRAPOLA… I don’t think I can credit myself with self discipline now. Although I’ve never cheated… Should I say Thank you??? What the heck just happened. My 1st podcast…🥺🤔

It’s most likely due to unhealed trauma that only God can heal. Speaking from experience. Both must do the work to fix what’s broken but it starts spiritually.

I think it’s two reasons people cheat 1. They lack DISCIPLINE 2. They chose to because they wanted to In other words it’s either something he couldn’t resist because of lack of character or he is just a person who doesn’t what he wants and deals with the consequences later if he even considers losing you a consequence maybe he know he won’t lose you or he thinks he won’t get caught . Moral of the story they cheat for their reasons it’s not a third party it’s not you it’s not some mystery .

Thanks for discussing this subject, and other subjects. It's very inspiring for commitment and love, and commitment from love. I have been thinking about lack of discipline. Why lacks someone discipline? Isn't he aware of the importance? Is he weak? didn't he learn it? Just do it, sounds simple, but why do some succeed and others fails? I like your analysis of the subject in a logical way. Why did you cheat, because I drank. Why where you there at the party. You made the choice. Why dit you makte choice? To me the answer is lack of connection. One isn't disciplined becasue of lack of connection. Connection to yourself, your dreams and purpose, and your spouse. One doesn't realise the hurt is causes, or one is in such emptyness that feeling pain is even better. When you are standing at a crossroad and have a choice you need values, intelligence and connection, the last one means love to me, to make a complete choice. To me thats responsibilty attuned your greater goals. When a person does not have clear values, is not able to think in action-reaction and lacks connection then obviuosly there is no discipline. Discipline needs a ground to stand on, and a goal to head to. And its a choice, cheating men need to grow in their responsibility of how to deal with emptyness, goals, love, pain, desires, power and vulnerablity.

The thing is a lot of men don't take the marriage covenant serious according to scripture. You can have all the evidence in the world and present it to the individual and they'll say that's not true. It pays to learn how to communicate and be truthful because infidelity brings on serious consequences according to the Bible!!
