In this clip, we hear from Michael Bell. He is the voice actor that replaced Peter’s voice in Phantom of The Park. According to him, it sounds like not showing up for “looping” was not the true issue of why his voice was completely removed from the film.

Peter didn’t say it was his own voice. He just denied he never went to looping. The full quote is the book KISS Behind The Mask. He actually expressed annoyance that they didn’t at least find an actor who had a voice similar to his.
