Most of the 80s, and even the 90s artists didn't really make the money that we believed that they made, simply because they started out young and did not understand the biz. So, the producers and record labels took advantage of them. They basically signed away their rights, so they didn't get their royalties. They mainly got paid for shows, because the crooked producers and record labels were collecting their royalties. And a lot of those artists weren't doing it for the $, they were doing it for the love, so they would sometimes perform for free or little of nothing because they rated the promotor, and saw them as a friend. The now-a-adays artists are mostly doing it for the $ , hype e.t.c, and a lot of them are just hustling the music.

When CD became less popular and I really understood the work you were doing, I decided, not just to buy the digital copies of V10 & 11, and since went back and purchased the first two volumes I pirated.
