Eh, I disagree. I mean, I agree that it's a toxic situation but it's not just because of Gabi. Gabi seems more confident now while Niki is less, and because Niki compares herself to Gabi (as in, she has done so throughout multiple videos) naturally it would make Gabi feel bad/awkward. At the same time, responding by putting yourself down doesn't _actually_ bring the other person up. It's a kneejerk reaction that isn't beneficial to either party At the end of the day, the reason why everything is poor between them seems to be lack of conducive communication. They may never be super close because of everything they've been through and the fact that they're so incredibly different, but they shouldn't have a relationship that is so broken in the first place because they are different. It's like they just keep hurting each other and it's difficult to stop a cycle like this if you never get to the root of the issue. I feel bad for both of them.

I feel like Gabi is living her life as teenager and then a young woman having fun, relationships etc, while Nikki has been the Mom, the manager, the responsible one and now she would like to live her life and have fun too. But Nikki doesn't know how to get it without distancing herself from Gabi, because Gabi is used to Nikki just always doing the responsible thing. It's not that one way of living is better, both ways are valid. Now it's about balance, and being anchored in themselves first. I feel like learning to communicate and show understanding and love to each other is hard but it's the next step to healing their relationship

so here is what i got out of this video: ok so basically gabi took college as an opportunity to live her life and actually figure out who she is and because she was doing that, she’s wasn’t too committed to the youtube thing. niki instead was so focused on their youtube career that she wasn’t truly able to figure out who she was. but now that gabi is able to take a step away from her personal life after being so comfortable in it and so confident in who she is, niki is now realizing that she needs to actually figure out who she really is and set up a life like the one that gabi lives. their morals and their life focus did not match up and that is what eventually tore them apart. and probably because they are not just sister but twin sisters that also worked together, it was hard to communicate because it is kind of expected for them to get along at all times. now that they are trying to communicate, it is even harder because there are so many feelings built up that a conversation can easily become into an argument. there is so much pain and resentment and jealousy in niki’s past that she was taking out on gabi which then put her in pain and also caused to resent niki in a way and when they talk, they were probably so defensive because they know how much pain they were in but not too sure that other was also in pain. having a good relationship with your siblings is hard sometimes because you grow up in the same environment and you don’t necessarily see or understand what role you have played in the person they have become, whether that role be positive or negative. when growing up, it is necessary to talk about those roles and grow upon them in order to be a positive light in their life.
