She has to bring him sheep to earn his trust, eventually getting close enough to claim him. I imagine their bond might be close in S3 given they're both the 'black sheep' of their families. Sheepstealer being a wild dragon with what looks like a form of dragon mange, ugly and alone. Rhaena never having her dragon hatch, etc.

I agree 💯 % wif you. . They are changing the story a Lil. I think they are changing it so they can make subtle changes so we can't read the story and know in advance what will happen. I think they are merging nettles character wif baela.(I'm not good wif spelling) and & the way dragons are choosing there riders not riders claiming dragons I'm finding these Lil changes really interesting. Blood Magic could very well be central to it... but I think in a different manner. It could be said that all the dragonseeds sacrificed to the bronze dragon was a series of blood magic rituals unwittingly cast by the queen Rhaenyra. The first sacrifice paired Seasmoke with his rider The second sacrifice paired the big bronze dragon, Vermithor. And subsequent multiple sacrifices at that time cast an additional more powerful spell that paired Silverwing as well as the wild freeroaming dragon, Sheepstealer Rhaena in the near future .

Okay, so, the way it's going with the writing, Rhaena will hit her head, get amnesia, then calling herself Nettles, she's gonna claim Sheepstealer. Her Dad will spend all of season 3 trying to help her, and the Smallfolk will all think she's either his lover or bastard, and the Queen will be angry her kids weren't protected and call for Rhaenettle's head.

Sheepstealer is supposed to be bigger than silver wing. Only Vhagar, Vermithor and The Cannibal are bigger than Sheep stealer. In the show they purposely only showed us distance shots of sheep stealer

Which would make about equal amounts of larger dragons on either side...how does it make sense for a massive dragon to be eating sheep my man. I like this change too. Daemon had a whole spiritual awakening while at Harrenhall and in that last episode he redeemed himself with Rhaenyra. It would be a shame to mess that up by having him mess around and potentially escaping death to run off with someone else. He should also redeem himself with Rhaena and this storyline would allow him to do so.

Sheepstealer has not chosen anyone at this point. A wild dragon who has never been ridden or tamed. We have a single shot of him roaring at Rhaena so nothing has been settled. Who knows what will happen, as in books its a whole different girl that tames this beast. A lowborn who spends days bringing him sheep until he is familiar enough to accept her.

It chose her because Sheepstealer is a wild dragon that is ostracized by the rest of the dragons. Rhaena has a wild spirit and is ostracized by the other Targaryens cause she doesn’t have a dragon. I touch on it more on my other Rhaena videos where I correctly guest she would tame sheep stealer before the show hinted it.

the real reason is because they killed off the only real black character in nettles because she would make queen rhaenyra hated by all the fans. sad because nettles was the most fearless warrior in the whole dance of the dragons. its a shame they killed her off and race swapped corleys strictly for woke check boxes.

feels like such a cheap cash grab. I'm someone who doesn't even watch shows and I was dragged into this show by my girlfriend. I was super looking forward to every episode I'll admit I was sucked into this. At this point it feels like they're going to drag it out as long as possible with nothing happening meanwhile hoping that you let HBO Max charge you whatever per month for the next 7 months until they release eight more episodes (why not ten?) where I got nothing will happen because the whole thing is a cash grab. I'm really upset I've wasted my time caring about this show up to this point. Honestly at this point I'm good off of it I don't think I'll be tuning in next season. What a shame. I really enjoyed season 1, and I was willing to accept the slow pace of season 2 but not all for nothing. Should I give game of thrones a try finally? The dragons were my main draw to the show because I love dragons but the politics and treachery is what kept me.

I will say if you watch the first 6 seasons of game of thrones. It’s arguably one of the best shows ever. House of the dragon season 2 is a let down. Especially after season 1’s hot start. So I don’t blame you. I’ll give the 3rd season a shot. Hopefully they learn from this season if they don’t. Then this show is over.

Not even close to enough. they could have showed new unprecedented riders training or bonding with dragons like Addam or did something funny with Ulf...done more to explain the origin of the witch...it was just very anti climactic for me. I wanted to love it but it just wasn't good.
