Just binge watched your channel! How is the house renting back home going? I am thinking about renting out my house in America while working in S.E. Asia. Did you hire a realtor as a property manager and what percent of the rent check does she take. In my area 1 bedroom homes not as nice as mine are renting for $1000/month, but I don't feel comfortable taking less than $1500/month, in case they trash it. $1000/month is peanuts and not worth the risk. I would def. say no pets or smoking in my house.

We have a property manager that charges 8% of rent. That’s mostly the standard rate. Our 4plex property is finally making money after suffering some loss from Covid. Our primary home is giving us great return as we rented it out at a very high value.

Also did you rent out your dishes and pots and pans and your bedding (blankets, sheets and pillows)?

Unfortunately yea 😂😂😂 we left US in a hurry and gave them everything.
