Another excellent video, Andy! Being honest with oneself and admitting that the reason one played played a poor shot was due to their making a mistake, is the foundation for making progress with one's snooker play.

Thank you Kendall and thank you for the continuing support to the channel. Yip as my Grandfather always said you can’t beat honest delivered correctly. Not sure if the delivery in this case lol

Whats going on here then Andy,,,,, Mr Ego has nicked my hoodie out of The Snooker Shed.....Give him a clip round the ear for me...... Great video,,,,bad workmen always blame their tools as they say...Its a hard fact,,,,BUT its easier to blame than to analyse correctly and correct the problem,,,,trouble is that it is very difficult with snooker to analyse yourself,,,, thats when you need people like you or Nic around...... What part of the country are you in,,,,, i need to come and nick my hoodie back..... Keep up the good work,,,, AS SEEN ON TV....well done mate....

Hey Andy, just wondering if you or any others went/go through this... I walk into the shot, get down and it looks a wee tad thick/thin, but instead of getting back up and re-adjust, I think/convince myself "hmm it might just be ok", so I take the shot and guess what? It was too bloody thick/thin. Then I get up annoyed and say, "I should’ve got back up and re-adjusted!!! AHHHHHH!!!!" Maybe I need mental coaching 🤪

Hey Frank Oh man the amount of shots I have missed with that one is mad,also adding side to a shot when you know your on the wrong line. BUT you know you do this and thats a massive step to fixing the problem Thanks for the comment mate Ill be doing a video on a the things I have done and still do that make me miss soon, how would you like to come on and do the outro ?

@@TheSnookerShed thanks for the reply mate. That’s good to know! I’m sure we all do it but I feel like I do it loads of times. And always thin on a screw shot 😣 Ah ye I’d love to do the outro from the club here in Switzerland (I’m from Bonnie Scotland originally 😀). Let me know. Cheers.

It's well known that only a fool blames his tools but there are also many other factors in play wether its badly maintained tables cues all play differently etc some balls are worn and don't run true or our own errors but a lot of it is phycological and to accept our own errors is to learn and move forward so acceptance is key to learning however even so it's still easier said than done no one is perfect we all make mistakes even the pros do !
@TheSnookerShed2 жыл бұрын
Indeed no one will ever be perfect. I have played on a couple of tables when started playing and they were very poorly looked after balls were very old place was damp. I played some decent snooker on them,I think yes tables,balls and general atmosphere plays apart but snooker for me is in my head and it the part most of us don’t know how to switch on lol Thanks for the comment and watching Convert Interesting name for your profile?

@@TheSnookerShed the name is just there to raise awareness it's obviously gotten your attention and hopefully gotten the attention of others too not everyone will know what a narcissistic person is but those who have been with one will and the name is just there to point them in the right direction for example they may look into it Google it or whatever and find the answers they need in order to start their recovery obviously not a snooker related topic but that's the reason for the name just to raise awareness

@@covertnarcisisticawareness1025 cool pal,it is something that is linked with serial killers which clearly is another misconception from the tv. Are you in the mental health field my brother in law is just about to complete his mental health nursing.

@@TheSnookerShed I m aware what it is I just put it there to make other people aware because in like relationships people are so manipulated especially from covert types that they can never see that the problem stems from that person as they are in denial stages and looking for answers which they will never find however yes that's one of those is the narcissistic psychopaths but there are many other traits and all of which follow the same pattern such as sociapaths, people with bi polar , psycopaths etc overt and coverts they all follow the same pattern of behaviour and mentality of a child which is all dangerous in every aspect the difference with a covert they will litterally drive u insane and portray you as the problem it's projection an overt will be loud and not worried about the attention gained it's basically the mentality of a child the end goal is basically getting attention which is known as narcissistic supply wether it's good or bad a covert just want to play the victim but is the abuser driving u to insanity so u lash out then they portray themselves as the victim to understand how Thier mind works just like snooker knowledge is the key to overcoming these obstacles once u have better understanding you can play them at Thier own game by that I mean u can overcome what ever they attempt to throw at u because you can see it coming before they do it it's all psychological it's how you over come it that's crucial to winning either way knowledge is power but with a psychopath they will obviously kill you without second thought and get off on it however they all follow the same traits every one of them it's just some are more extreme than others but they all have many traits in common such as a lack of empathy, manipulative to name a few it's a vast topic to learn but once you have that knowledge anyone can over come one ! However keep up the good work look forward to future contents
@covertnarcisisticawareness10252 жыл бұрын
@@TheSnookerShed and no I m not in the mental health field however I m very clued up on it all as I relentlessly studied the whole topic and as I mentioned it's a very vast but interesting topic to cover but is key to recovery of victims of narcissistic abuse as knowledge is the key to get better understanding and also gain insight into how Thier mind works many people stuffer and are in the denial stages thinking they are the problem when they are not it's only when you learn about it everything clicks and you find answers but there's no point in trying to tell someone that they aren't the problem but the victim they have to find out them selves unfortunately because they are always in the denial stages it's a vicious cycle of mentality as you will never get the answer from a narcissistic person only they can find the answer themselves if that makes sense but thanks for the reply all the best for the new year
