This will be a far more memorable and authentic trip for someone coming to Singapore, and cheaper on the wallet too! Awesome job hosting, everyone! If there's a East destination for future guests, feel free to swing by for an aerial tour of Singapore too at our centre. Will be another cool and unique activity to check out. 😁. Brilliant weather on that first day. You get the most lucid lighting on days like that, and everything looks extra good on camera. Clear blue skies into golden hour into evening is pretty magical on the bayfront.

I notice tourists are brought over to Little India more often than other areas like China Town or Geylang Seria. Split them over to see more places of our city.

Nothing beats a planned itinerary. It stretches and saves time and probably covers as much as possible. Sometimes a tour becomes more meaningful to include some catching up and better of both touristy, neighborhood and rural areas. There was this solo tourist who had only a few hours here and he squeezed about 5 tourist places in that period of time and left behind negative comments. What would you expect to experience when visiting Chinatown after 10pm...?
@WONDERLUSTworld5 ай бұрын
I guess it makes sense to explore places at their peak times!

I thought that you should have done this on a Saturday during the NDP rehearsal. Tomorrow it will happen again. You did not bring your visitor to Haji Lane?
@WONDERLUSTworld5 ай бұрын
She wasn’t here over the NDP rehearsals actually. I recently did a vlog about Haji Lane, and although I really like it, with the short time we had it wasn’t going to fit it. Many more things we’d have loved to show but this 72 hours is just a small taste really.

do take note in SIngapore even coffeeshops cost many millions (more than a few mansions overseas) and a tiny hawker stall rent can go up more than a luxury condo (given condos in Singapore already cost a bomb) imagine costing more than a few villas in rent... People are suffering... well that's the real side of Singapore not happy happy tourist
@WONDERLUSTworld4 ай бұрын
Having done some research, I’ve seen that this isn’t true. Coffeeshops do not cost anywhere near “many millions”… of course, it will take lots of effort to get it up and running - but anything worthwhile takes lots of effort and hard work. I’d be interested in where you got these figures and facts? Thanks

*Malays are the descendants of Singapore for your information even though the Chinese are the majority The Malays are the natives not Chinese or Indians Malays are the ones that first step this island and the national language is Malay not Chinese or Indian but SG is multi-racial country and it's a amazing city in my opinion but not the prices* ❤️🇸🇬
@WONDERLUSTworld5 ай бұрын
Yes… I’m from Singapore so understand this… we talked about the sub-cultures in this video based on where we visited, not the historical/geographical demographic of the nation… the prices depend on where you shop… everything on this video was very reasonable!

Thts true..even my neighbourhood is quiter on most days esp. during school holidays.
@M.K-522005 ай бұрын
Yes & No, touristy places in SG are mostly crowded. As a comparison, 1st-tier cities like NYC, Seoul and Taipei are even more densely populated. SG’s city design is strongly ‘humanized’, sheltered walkways, pedestrian and handicap friendly amenities can be found almost everywhere.
@WONDERLUSTworld5 ай бұрын
Lots of the more popular places will always been busier. It also depends on your outlook, sometimes it’s worth the crowds to experience something you never have before and other times visit at a less busy time to see the area but not necessarily the event that’s taking place. We went to universal studios yesterday and it wasn’t busy at all. Think we just got lucky really.
@WONDERLUSTworld5 ай бұрын
Disagree that everywhere is crowded. It varies vastly. If you look at the last few mins of this video, the nature areas are empty. You must remember that we are a city state - cities generally are busy places. I like to see it as “full of life” 😊
