I don’t think Layla views Marc and Steven as the same person, but rather Steven as a version of Marc that is affectionate and open to her. But still, they are two separate people, so it does matter that they kissed regardless of the fact that Marc and Steven share a body.

YAY!! Finally, I been waitin' on y'all! Fun Fact: Oscar Isaac is acting w/his brother in scenes where he plays Steven or Marc and needs to talk to the other one or duplicate himself like for the hug. Part of me thinks Marc may have also tossed Steven down that shaft too after punching him. LOLOL Hippo = Goddess Taweret. The Goddess Taweret (birth and fertility) is mentioned by Steven with a "V" in episode 1 when he was talking to Donna about the Ennead and she said to hand her the box of hippos. He corrected her and said the hippos were Taweret. @27:25 = The Goddess/Avatar from episode 3 = Yatzil who is an avatar for Hathor (music and ___). Not the same goddess. QUESTION: Wondering is there a 3rd Moon Knight suit if the 3rd guy (Stabby Joe) takes over and changes into Moon Knight?! Marc = hood/cape; Steven = dope ass 3pc suit; 3rd guy = ????

The hippo at the last scene is an egyptian god Taweret, she is the goddess of childbirth, fertility, rejuvination...so it's more like she has something to do with giving life, she will be appearing until episode 6, and apparently helps steven and marc

Anyone who is advocating for the gods to do something are basically ascribing to Ammit's philosophy of judging someone for what they will do, not what they have done. The gods are right, Harrow hasn't done anything yet that deserves judgement. He's just digging.

Wow, this is legitimately one of the best takes I've seen on this and explains a lot of what's going on with the gods. The gods know what Harrow is up to, but they don't agree with Ammit's philosophy so they won't do anything until its too late which ironically proves Ammit right in some ways. You also get Khonshu who hates Harrow and Ammit so much that he warps his own philosophy and basically becomes a mirror of Ammit. It feels like no matter what happens, Ammit and Harrow win on some level.

@@iammidus2012 I might be wrong, but I don't think the gods "know" what Harrow is up to. At least they don't know what we know as the audience. The gods are in their own little pocket dimension and whatever they know is through like their avatars. Khonshu was too impatient and couldn't get the proper evidence in time to properly convict Harrow. I agree that Khonshu warped his own philosophy he know what Harrow will do, but couldn't prove he would do it. As such Khonshu sort of adopted Ammit's philosophy.

@@ARIEZKAGE nah. Khonshu still follows his principles. Harrow haven’t freed Ammit but he is in the process of doing exactly that. So, Harrow is in the process of committing a crime and logically deserves a punishment.

Also the hippo goddess was referenced in the 1st episode, as a plushy in the store. historically This myth demonstrates Taweret's primary function as a goddess of fertility and rejuvenation. Some scholars feel that her role in the Nile inundation is one of the reasons she was given the epithet "Mistress of Pure Water". However, her similar role in the rejuvenation of the dead also cannot be overlooked with regards to this epithet - just as she provided life for the living through physical birth and the inundation, she also cleansed and purified the dead so they could pass safely into the afterlife. - wikipedia lol

From what I remember, you die and you’re transported on a boat through the process of weighing your soul and reaching the afterlife. You could meet Tawaret on the way I think, according to Kane chronicles. Might explain why the hospital is tilting back and forth, like a boat

so what would happen if you put live ammo bullets into a big fire would they shoot out? no of course not only in movies and badly written tv shows does that happen ... the gunpowder would explode and there would be those expanding gases, but the bullet is highly unlikely to leave the case this is because those normal cases are rather thin, expanding gases would escape through a path of least resistance, which would be the wall of the case, in other words, a new hole on the side of the round would appear, but, most likely, the bullet would remain in place. and no a flare would not instantly make any live ammo fire they are incased in metal it would take several seconds if not minutes for the fire to make any bullet explode this is all BS bad writing

oh my god its such bad writing just in the first scene multiple men with guns see a truck while looking for someone and they just do a quick pass around it no one checks inside while looking for someone mindyou... then drive close to it while in the middle of a F ing desert where no one can run away from you on foot ... they have guns mindyou then a flare is thrown into an open crate of bullets which for some magic reason catch fire like if they where made out of paper and for some reason the bullets shoot which in real life would not happen even if you tossed them into a fire so anyway these magic bullets shoot out killing both men but missing the other two protagonists i mean its just so bad not as bad as batwoman from the CW but still shiddy writing
