Erin Andrews didn’t think twice about Jimmy Garoppolo uttering “baby” during a 2019 post-game interview.
Appearing Tuesday on the “Endless Hustle” podcast, the Fox Sports broadcaster, 42, recalled the now-viral moment - in which the 49ers quarterback said, “Feels great, baby,” after improving to 8-0 on the season.
“Not sure if anyone knows this, but my husband was on the field when it happened,” Andrews said of former NHL player Jarret Stoll.
“He was behind our camera guy on Fox, holding my phone taking a picture. Jimmy G. knew my husband was right there,” she continued.
Garoppolo, who helped lead the 49ers to a Super Bowl berth last season, dropped the comments on-air, prompting a laugh from Andrews. The WEAR designer made it clear the 29-year-old quarterback wasn’t flirting.
