I loved this show as I grew up. I absoluteky hated it when the series ended. I always chalked it up to ratings, the execs, and most likely the younger ones wanting to do other things in their lives....or at least thats how I rationalized it all. Never saw the movies. Early 2000s were a mess for me. Dark times :/ I wish they'd show TGIF shows on regular tv. And by regular I mean antenna. And yes, people still use antennas....albeit with digital boxes. I miss how they'd show reruns during the 80s. Big Valley, Gumby, etc. You know, the classics of 60s and 70s shows...alas, they stopped doing that in the mid 90s. All went to cable / satellite. Mrrrh.

Same old story. Drag in a younger cast member to save the show. Remind you of anything? My 3 Sons maybe? Brady Bunch maybe?

@@JCStorm76 are you sure how do you know that because according to the cast and everyone else behind the scenes say that kirk would always push his religion onto them and even got his on screen wife fired because she posed for playboy and replaced her with his actual wife
@ninademci1500 Жыл бұрын
Juicy Pop, I’m sorry to say this will be long. Kirk became a Born Again Christian and in an article I read, his sister Candace said religion was rarely discussed, if at all, in their house as kids. The late Mr. Alan Thicke, told him that [I’m paraphrasing all of this and will use ** to denote it’s a paraphrase.] *since his (Kirk’s) convictions are so strong he can channel his creativity to a Christian network. The producers were fed up with it. The producer(s) is (are) the show runner(s). On occasion, an actor or actress is a show runner.*

If you know anything aboit Tracey, you'll know that it WASN'T the "fat jokes" that led to her near death battle with anorexia. She previously battled with the disease when she 12 years old (that's not to say the jokes didnt help the situation, but they were not the sole cause)
