This is because, while such judges are a problem, consider a situation where a judge is arrested because he did not give a favourable outcome to people in charge. Like, agar judges to arrest and charge karna itna aasan hota toh iss case me judge pr pressure bana dete ye rich family wale, using their political means to get him to rule in their favour. We never had the Magna Carta, never went through/adopted major industrial changes, no civil rights movements, no cultural revolution, etc. Ever been to a tier 2/3 or village, it’s a feudal society there. Try to understand they also face pressure from politicians (who interfere in everything) but they stood firm and actual brilliant idea to get independent DNA/Blood analysis (from Aundh medical college) which opened the case up!... it's the Judicial system which lets criminals out using some loophole or referencing a law etc..

Sanjoy roy, the accused is the main scapegoat of the wb police. I doubt he would be released. The other two( ex principal and a police official)who were arrested by cbi has been released on bail.
