And Islam at #2 makes no sense, without the takedown threat his pure striking is not even top 10, as much as I hate Izzy and as overrated as he is, he's a better striker than Islam when you take away the grappling. I'm glad people have been giving O'malley some props lately (A lot of people have discounted him but the reality is it's impressive if anyone can perform how O'malley has performed) A lot of people underestimate O'Malley but I feel like his striking skills, fight I.Q., movement, feints, stance switches, timing, strike diversity, is some of the best there is. He proved his striking output cardio endurance in that record setting output against Green haired Kris Mutino. He can strike around high guards. He understands how to put velocity/power on his shots. Even when moving backwards. He abstractly flows with how a fight unfolds. He's shown he can make really good reads in the moment. There are many great bantamweight fights to make. All will be awesome to watch. There's insane talent in this division. I really hope we get to see O'malley vs Cory/Petr Yan 2, the list goes on. There's tons of exciting match ups. Win or lose it will be fun to watch.

Good list but can't agree with all picks My criteria for ranking the best strikers is that the effectiveness.Although possessing a take down threat, he should make more impact when he spends time on the feet with the opponent. Not to be outstruck by other fighters.Inflicting more damage on the opponent is also a factor rather than on an underwhelming point fighting. My list👇 1. Alex Pereira (High output. Never outstruck on the feet. Finished good strikers like Jiri(2×), Jan, Izzy, Jamahal, Strickland...The KO loss to Adesanya is a negative though because it was 1-1 and was competitive in Feet. ) 2. Sean O'Malley (Never outstruck on feet.Only fighter was able to outstruck Petr Yan. Good output.Avenged his loss against Chito and made him as a punching bag, and proved that it was a fluke.The only reason he didn't reach number one position is because he didn't face many tough opponents like Alex. If he KO someone like Sandhagen he could be in No 1 spot) 3. Petr Yan(Probably the best boxer in UFC ever. Outstruck excellent strikers like Sandhagen, Aldo, Song Yadong... Outstruck by O'Malley who is above him. Eventhough it was a competitive fight ) 4.Stephen Thompson(Never outstruck by anyone in the octagon. Destroyed Whittaker beat Neol, Masvidal... Lost to Makhachev in a competitive fight in the first, completely shut down in the second.He did well against Topuria in the first round but outboxed by him at at the pocket and knocked out brutally.His best wins includes vs Holloway(3x), Yair, Ortega, Aldo.... 10. Cyril Gane (Never outstruck by anyone in UFC.Brutal KO artist can't even touch him.
