Excellent, refreshing to hear you stating that there is no "quick fix" and emphasising the key components to pure strike, giving us the insight and drills to WORK on. Thanks....

You must be chuffed that Mark Immelman was admiring your swing at The Creator Classic.

What an excellent clear delivery of golf striking essentials ! It's great to help us seasoned (old) golfers focus as we head out to the practice range. Honestly, people pay hundreds for this info in a one on one lesson - agreed though there is no substitute for personal feedback.

Best golf tuition on KZbin, shows how it's done and explains the theory in detail as well, cheers Pete! Where are you located, I'm on my way for lessons, right now! Seriously!

Haven't watched, but this MUST surely be the video that fixes my swing...

Brilliant video Pete, especially the finish position, I've been working on transition and finishing position most of this year, so that I improve strike and improve ball flight... Strangely I start with the finish position, doing the butt of the club in the belly button drill to feel that I've got weight on lead leg and I'm turning through to a full finish position, it's been a major help, I mention it so that it may help others too. Keep up the great content and I look forward to more great content.

I once got an advice to only focus on finishing in the right position (it was more about getting the club to move inside out, but still). It actually helped, because if I'm moving otherwise about the right way, the finishing position is a result of what happened before. But like Pete said, one can also be in a right position if they've somehow artificially manipulated the movement, so that's not always a good advice. But if you're swinging ok, but just struggling with some slice, you can try tp focus on finishong the club behind your neck. If you're coming from outside, you'll probably end up with your club and hands above your head (like Pete here when he showed that slice shot).

Mr. Finch your swing is sick. How many people hit the ball as far as you with such a smooth swing?

Peter when covering the ball and moving your sternum in front of the ball it looks like your head moves in front of the ball. Is it or is it a trick of the camera angle

Should I not swing as hard if I can’t keep my balance after the swing even though I make decent connection.

For me, struggling to strike consistent. The down swing angle was hard to achieve. I made an extra effort to keep my left arm straight, down angle was easier to achieve.

The swing is the result of having clear Intent, not a bunch of positions to get into! Believe it or not the Ball ISN'T the target.

Yeah, sometimes when I really struggle with the fat shots, I can fix it by lokking just in front of the ball (where the divot should be). Doesn't always work, but then it's usually about some part of my body being stiff and hindering my movements. But if it's just between ears, that usually helps.

How can you start diving into the techniques without asking the question about “what do you want the ball to do?” The answer to this question dictates address, alignment & thoughts The more lessons I take the harder I feel it is to learn from KZbin. You may think you are making a movement when you are not. You have to video yourself then try & work out why you aren’t performing the movement. This may be due to set up causing a jam in your swing You may be unable to hit certain positions due to body mechanics

If I'm playing with someone who's not subscribed to Swing Quest, I make them putt everything out and play out of fairway divots.

Only way I can hit my irons is to disconnect my arms noodle them 0% tension and just whip them at the ball with rotation . Should I be putting my arms into it

Um... the purple line was supposed to move in conjunction with the loft to illustrate the changes in dynamic loft as the shaft angle changes. Why did you make it static? Seems an obvious oversight.
