My favourite era of Digibro by far was the after dark when you released so much fun and interesting content. I know life changes but I still go back and rewatch it all the time because I miss it, and no other KZbinr has had a narrative like it.

What made the videos successful were the fact that you were talking about big popular shows at the time, but the reason why they are still remembered so fondly, why people say that the 2016 era was the golden era, was that used those shows to cover broad topics. Asterix War = why light novel (adaptations) are mostly trash, how to recognize a great / bad anime in one episodes, anime is getting lazy with its meta, turn your brain off, etc... all these are pretty interesting topics, where you made good points pointing out the bullshit that all the other anime youtubers ignore, about topics that are arguably still relevant today. That is what I (we) want to see more of. (I mean, you already did these topics and retreading the same ground probably won't work out as well. But you know generally speaking... it's not like I don't like your newer stuff)

I was wondering, why don’t you make an “anime history” playlist or something like that? The great anime director that time forgot, the writer who kept anime weird, flanderizing akihabara, light novel trends couldn’t possibly be this interesting, Akiyuki Shinbo I think you have more than enough videos that talk about otaku/anime history to make a playlist out of them. Don’t know how this would benefit you tho, I just think it would be cool to have them all in one place.

You see when Digibro shows off The Asterisk War Sucks Part 12a at 1:05:30 and there's an error? I found out the hard way when I was watching the whole series a few days ago that video has had that error loading for a while for everyone I know around me in the Boston area. No matter what device you're on. But people in other places people can get it to load apparently. I was only able to watch it by using a VPN. So something about one of KZbin's servers that this area accesses by default just doesn't work for loading that particular video right now and as far as I know there aren't any other videos affected and its really weird.

I would just like to say thanks for the Ass Wars series. That was easily one of the first ten shows I watched when I started getting into anime, and I really liked it at the time. Why? Simply because I didn't have any understanding of anime, and I also hadn't started really fleshing out a personality for myself yet, so I somehow managed to relate to it. I think that that series alone may have a much greater impact on my life than any other piece of media I've consumed simply because it opened my eyes to many different things.

Digibro, as a Patreon, I'd still support you if you covered obscure shit people don't care about. I have loved some of your long form research/analysis videos the most. You say "research projects are basically pointless" but your hardcore supporters don't care about the cynical shit. We care about the videos you clearly but a time of time and care into. The point of them is the create worthwhile and good art, not something to be scrapped by the wayside. Don't give into capitalism!
