Took you to work with me to show you the "not so fun" side of the job. The reality of being a barista is a lot of cleaning and stocking, but its still fun to be able to have a chill job. Hope this gave some insight to anyone curious about the job and a warning to anyone who hates cleaning but wants to be a barista! Lol

When people think a barista only do coffee, mmm no there is so many other things we do, like I do Crêpes, do slicing, prepare batter sweep floor, mop, clean espresso machine , refill everything, as part of my job I used to do IG posting on the business account but I stop doing it because I was doing it for free 😒, also create new drinks and more

That is true! I started in probably the most corporate of corporate stores and now have so much flexibility it is amazing. You should start looking!

I worked at a small business too (in Canada) and the owner made it unbearable for me to work there...she told me she'd pay me only half my hourly rate for training (which is illegal here but w/e I needed a job) but when i got my paycheque after working 2 weeks, she paid me $190 for nearly $500 worth of work. And I know it's not for training, because after 3 days of training me to open the store, she gave me the key to her store!!! You don't give someone a key who's still "training". Ah when I complained she instantly changed her face from kind to absolutely bitchy and made my month after complete hell so I had to quit. Anyway I really envy people who find good owners! I know it's stressful for owners to have their own business but some people are really bad to their workers so it's rare to find good ones.

Love love the Christmas music! Funny fact: I HATE dishwashers! I am addicted to doing dishes by hand. It is sooooo calming to me. When I was little my aunt used to put a chair up to her sink for me and let me do her dishes because I would beg her and beg her, "aunt Sheila, can I do your dishes pleeeeeeease!!!!" 😂 My friends laugh at me because when I go to their houses, like after they have eaten dinner with their families, I'll do their dishes...even if I didn't eat dinner with them LOL! My friends teenage son LOVES when I come over because his chore is doing the dishes, and he knows that I'll do them for him. LOL! My friend gets so mad and yells at me "crystal!! You don't have to do that!" The best christmas morning to me: counters and counters full of dirty dishes ALL FOR ME to wash by hand! 😂😂 glad you got sleep and had a better day yesterday!

And btw, the cleaning part is so true. I would be stuck in the shop for almost an hour after closing, just to clean. I loved the job but hated it at the same time because it was so repetitive and redundant. I miss it sometimes though and these videos make me jealous ://

Lol no just flavor with red bull and orange juice or cream. Some of my favorites are blue raspberry red bull with cream, or pina colada with cream, or blackberry vanilla with or without cream! no coffee in them!

It could be, but you just stay aware and never tell strangers personal info about yourself and carry some sort of self defense with you. If you're ever concerned just call the cops!

"red bull italian sodas", just flavor of choice, usually fruity, a can of red bull and thats it or sometimes people want cream or orange juice to top it off! blackberry or blue raspberry or strawberry or raspberry are popular flavors for that!

I am loving your channel! I always love seeing how other coffee shops are run and how they're set up! I've been barista-ing for about 4 years now in Ohio. This may be a stupid question, but what drinks do you make with red bull in them?? They look like a game changer and I am super curious.

Some people just call them "red bull italian sodas" essentially made the same way as an italian soda. Flavor, red bull, and cream or orange juice on top if they want some or neither if they don't. No cream in sugar free red bulls though because it'll curdle

People order them with fruit flavors and either nothing else in it, or orange juice, or some half and half to make it creamier. Some examples of flavors are like passion fruit, strawberry kiwi, blue raspberry, raspberry, pomegranate, green apple, etc. There are tons and tons of flavors! Made the same way as an italian soda just made with red bull.
