The reality of ranching and losing livestock

We found one of our steers dead in the pasture this morning. At this time it's unclear what the cause was, there was no warning, no signs of distress or illness, only the sudden shock of the loss of one of our animals. This is a reality and a harsh one at that. These things don't happen everyday but they do happen.

Unfortunately no, we want the whole animal intact for evaluation at MSU so we can get an accurate diagnosis.
