Few months ago my daughter told me that she was scared by some questions she wasn't able to answer. Why this thing is made in this way and not in another way? Why do I exist? Why things exist instead of nothing? I told her to not be scared because these are very beautiful and deep questions that humans struggle to find and answer. That was the first time I could not give her an answer. Thanks for this great video, now I just need to find a way to decode your idea and make it easy to understand for a 8 years old curious girl. 😅

Hey Xandros, it seems you have independently discovered dialectics (which the entire movement of modern philosophy sought to eradicate when it defined itself as the fight against german idealism). A thesis and an antithesis can always be synthesised in a higher dimension if they are truly opposite. You may define any two points (singularities) and if they can be proven to be opposite then they are automatically proven to form an identical structure when adjuncted. Think of an arrow in vector space, it is a construction of two points, one is the beginning the other is the end, those two points form the opposing sides of the line, they are their own opposites. Now if you were to take that same 1D line construction and adjunct it at both points pointing perpendicular to the line you will discover you have projected a square, in a square all four points cease being a beginning OR end, because they are both a beginning for end for one line and the beginning of a new one - a vertex, the synthesis of two opposites. This process is generalisable to n-dimensions. The major break in our thinking is that it is also non-trivial to do this. This process is constructive in other sense. Null and Uon are that same constrcution starting from two sets (the null set and the set of all sets), geometrically it’s that which preceeds my 1D to 2D construction as 0D to 1D. Why this is important is that unlike set theory, in category theory you can formalise this process as an “algorithm” for a perfect turing machine. The same conditions which in the semantic space of language allow us to understand our consciousness but never know it through dialectics, can also be used to flip Godel’s incompleteness theorem into a completeness sewing machine.

One might ask “If it’s that simple why is nobody doing it”. The answer is we are all doing it, all the time. That’s why you feel conscious rather than unconscious. We know that if we take the category of all the things which define our consciousness, we can immediately define a category with all their opposite things, then we can adjoin the two categories to create a new category, which in one new dimension defines our consciousness a bit better than before, that way we avoid negating our own experience, evolutionary that’s how we avoided anybody else destroying our identity. Think about all the reasons you love another person, if you were to list them and stopped then it’s not true love, something more than just the sum of its parts, love is that which can continually transcend itself, and in fact that idea is true of any other word or idea, because the same mechanism we evolved to protect and enrich our conscious identity allowed us to IDENTIFY with any concept we wish, and expand it indefinitely. This isn’t to say consciousness or love is infinite, in fact this only works precisely because they are finite - any set of axioms even if infinite can never be proven through itself as complete, but that fact can be proven from any computationally complete finite set of axioms, and therefore used by it to indefinitely constructively expand. If you want to know more, read William Lawvere’s papers on category theory. The guy was the only person working on this and he died last year. The only open source projects (nLab and Wolfram Physics) are stuck working on physics (They will discover how to reduce string theory to higher category theory and subsequently that string theory’s alternatives can only be sifted through by a quantum supercomouter, by then it will be too late). The category theorists who applied their computation to the humanities are ghosts. Ron Sun worked on cognitive based modelling and after the invention of GPUs all research on category theoretical Agent-based modelling is off the face of the internet for extremely obvious reasons.

Do you conceptualise Uon and the Fundament as actually distinct from each other, or is Uon rather an exploratory intermediate concept in order to grasp the full extent of the Fundament? If the first is true, how do you distinguish Uon and the Fundament exactly from each other? I find the concept of Uon a bit vague, since I'd rather imagine the opposite of "nothing" as "everything", which should also encompass all possible combinations of anything.

Very well articulated question! I totally get what you mean. I think of Uon as "everything" in the sense that you could outline the shape of any object within it, and that shape would contain all the properties needed to form the object. However, the outline would also contain every other property as well. Since every location within Uon has every conceivable property at once, it's impossible for Uon to actualise any discrete objects - as to do so requires the presence of certain qualities and the absence of all others. On the other hand, the Fundament is more like a collection of every possible object if you were able to differentiate them and actualise them individually. So to summarise: Yes, I do think of Null, Uon, and the Fundament as distinct concepts. Null is like an infinite hard drive filled with 0s, Uon is like an infinite hard drive filled with 1s, and the Fundament is like infinitely many infinite hard drives - collectively containing every possible combination of 1s and 0s. ​@@Xandros_Official Ah, thanks for clarifying. So, my interpretation from what you've stated is that you conceptualise Uon as some kind of maximally saturated version of Plato's world of ideas. Everything is present there, but since everything is dialled to 11, it cannot exist as any kind of concrete world we would regularly envision. That's certainly a fanciful idea. How have you gotten to the name "Uon" for it, though?

Yeah, interestingly - Uon also parallels some theological notions I came across after having already scripted this video. I've heard it said that "God" can be defined as "a being with no limitations," meaning the only thing it would lack is limitation itself. Thus, all of existence outside of God is partial and imperfect to some degree. Uon is almost like a cleaned-up, rigorous, secular version of that principle. As far as naming, I could have called Uon something like "Infinity" or "Entirety" or something, but any existing word has some connotation that would probably be unhelpful in getting folks to understand the concept. I cycled through a lot of terms and prefixes that mean "unified", "whole", "undifferentiated", etc. like "Omni", "Uni", etc. and just cobbled together "Uon" since it has a good ring to it and doesn't really mean anything already. - Xan

It’s almost as if the real question is why do humans need everything to fit into definite categories in our little primate brains with clear boundaries, beginnings, endings and causes. The notion that anything needs a “reason” to exist seems like rather small-minded and myopic anthropomorphism to me.

I’ve always toyed with the idea that every possibility exists and there is no wrong perceptions of it because every perception is a part of what existence. It honestly sounds like the snake chasing its tail. Your idea of fundament and how you touched upon in this video mirrors my thoughts on it as well. Really great video!

Beautiful video I came to a similar conclusion. I think deep down we all understand this fundamentally as we can break it down. For me this kind of brings inner peace but for another this could bring forth an existential crisis. But perspective is everything! Wink wink.

It is two sides of the same coin. If you could twist the coin at it center to view the places between its opposite edges you would find what neither of these sides contain. Balance. The cross. Indicates a crossing of two things. The holy trinity. A middle between two extremes. The coin would look like this ♾️. There is 0 and ♾️. The third form, that which neither are is what you get when the two combine to become “one”. The third number. Which is whole.

@@marktaylor6389 lol no I am not a robot. I have not made a KZbin video for the simple fact that my theories are not unified and still within development. I view my life as a main quest of trying to reach the summit of understanding. All of the other side quests are very real, but the main quest for me may never be over. I am not located where I may have any meaningful discussions about this topic to help me shape my thoughts into a durable coherent form. Until I can make them meaningful in some way, I don’t view it as me having any answers. I look at it as me having a cipher or key to view everyone else’s answers in a whole light.
