Yes, I’ve come to the conclusion that many people also get an ad that says “get an estimate FREE to help local businesses and earn a $25 gift card” I really get that vibe from some people because they really seem like they’re just trying to check the box that they interacted with you and that’s it and they don’t have any money at all and they have no intention of utilizing your service. We stopped doing it, and finally went ahead and learned how to do door to door canvassing, and now we have way way more warm and hot leads, and we ever got with Facebook ad campaigns

or making a look-alike audience of all the people who were "bad leads" and excluding them right??

@@saqlainnn465 What's most important is to make it so that Facebook DOESN'T consider a lead a lead unless the lead is likely to be qualified. I'll be creating trainings on this in the future.

Hi Michael! When doing facebook ads I am having a hard time figuring out what demographics/ interests or behaviors to choose for my roofing companies ads. Do you have any suggestions on what you have seen work well for your ads?

Love the video… so it sounds like you’re suggesting to teach the algorithm to do better with good actions (via offline or custom conversions), but are you also suggesting some sort of custom conversion for a NEGATIVE / bad result too? Like a poor lead/ appt/ etc?

I’m not suggesting a custom conversion for unqualified leads, but that’s something I’ve thought about. I’m fact, once you have enough bad leads, you could create a lookalike audience from them and exclude them. What I’m recommending in the video is a way to, when a lead comes in, have the system only count it as a lead based on certain criteria.

Great content. Working with a roofing company now and after a solid 2022 using primarily Google Ads, we're looking to expand into Facebook. Would love to see a video or take a course on how to set up the lead qualifying system you spoke about. Any idea on when that would be available?
