Appreciate your content brotha...I never let non fuel haulers know this work is easy tho, I think it's something to be kept amongst ourselves bc we become desensitized to all the risks that we go thru daily and can truly understand. Saying it's ez brings in the undisciplined $ chasers who cause potentially fatal risks Everything is yes or no in this work. When the time comes that you get in that cab and get nervous rolling down the road, turn around and park it bc more than yourself is at risk if that's the case. It takes maturity ro make a decision like you did to get out when you couldn't do it mentally/emotionally anymore, much respect

Fuel haulers get in dangerous wrecks less then any other drivers. We drive less than 800 miles in a week. My drops are no longer than 40miles from our stores. We work 5 days a week 10.5 hour days

@healthyhabits3406 cool story man, everyone has different schedules though and different obstacles on they daily just to do the same type of job. I hope you remain safe out there, I wish that for all of us always

The main thing I'm concerned about is the vapors. Are all fuel terminals like that? Are there gasmasks you could wear while working at the terminal to deal with it?
@FlyRy8058 ай бұрын
@superfamilyallosauridae6505 you would need to supply your own gear, 99.9% of folks don't use it. Not trying to sound tough, but if that's a big concern then you don't want to even try to pursue this Lane. Most of us don't realize how much we inhale, impossible to avoid honestly. Part of why we crazy enough to do this I guess lol

Bro ltl requires u to pick up hazmat too. I’ve picked up pallets of barreled fuel from vp fuels. It’s the same danger driving a truck in general. As far as the vapor goes all gas/diesel powered vehicles give off fumes of some sort that u will smell but I feel u do what’s best for u bro
