XPO Logistics is by far the worst company you could work for. They take on more than they can chew and their understaffed operation ends up eating the sh*t. Management doesn’t care that you’re a human they treat you like a robot who can work 24/7. Do yourself a favor and don’t work for these guys.

They’re about to open a distribution center some 4-6 minute drive from me, right around the corner, except as GXO. Brand new building i watched being constructed every time i drove by. Hiring for everything. What homeboy on video said sounds like a typical warehouse job, from what I’ve heard. I was thinking of applying, most especially if they will train you on the picking and forklift equipment, then probably look for better pay elsewhere after i can add that equipment experience on my resume. Do they train you on that stuff?

I left XPO recently. I started there back when it was still Con-Way Freight and a decent place to work. XPO came in and destroyed all that. We couldn't hire drivers and what we did get was worthless. So management would just crap on the few of us that actually did our jobs even harder and continue to baby and reward the lazy. Bought my own truck and left after over 12 years. Best decision I have ever made.

I've been at XPO about 3 months now. Just completed their driver trainer program. Maybe it's just me but so far it's the best company I've ever worked for. Everyone I've met is super cool and that's at 3 different terminals. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is the dock work. There's alot of it when you're on line haul but it is what it is. I'll be getting driver pay to work the dock and it's not hard work so I'll just deal with it. Great company for me so far. EDIT It's now 2/11/23. Got put into the city/p&d right off the bat. Work between 40 and 50 hrs a week. Haven't done any dock work. Pay is great. Company is great. Try to keep a positive attitude at all times and steer clear of the negativity and you'll do great!

My terminal wasn't bad on daylight. After they bumped me to nights forget it. The dispatchers and drivers were a high-school clique and they all talked shit about you behind your back. Senior drivers (1 year plus guys) shit on new employees, deliberately gave them the illegal loads, bossed them around, etc. It's funny how a guy can spend 20 years in the industry then take a break and start over at XPO and get treated like that. By someone half their age. There used to be respect and there used to be a brotherhood among drivers. That shit is gone at XPO.

Me and my team at a cross dock worked 7 days per week, 8.5 to 12 hours per day including holidays. Shit wages, but if you give up your family for work, you will earn overtime and holiday pay and that ALMOST gets you to what the middle class was earning thirty years ago for a normal 40 hour work week. Oh, and overtime is not voluntary, it is expected. Hopefully, your experiences are better.

I just found this video ? So you complaining that a company give you opportunities to earn $70-$120k without a college degree? Then your upset they didn’t;t care you had a baby ? Dude this is company not your family and friends. Most men before your generation especially black men Had little to no opportunity to make six figures. There was no social media or anyway to make this type of money with a graduate degree or 20 years of working. You go to work to work stack your money and take care fo your money. You do not go for office politics and running away when things do not go your way.

Don't blame you for leaving it's not the best company in the world according to most people and the lack of responsibility and management and workers don't do a good job in the first place. There's plenty of better jobs out there for you to make more money than XPO will ever do and that's the truth of it people just want to keep you in a crabs in a bucket mentality to think there's nothing else better out there

Someone send me a gift from Europe he told me His from there and I'm her in Dubai. Then only today here send it by XPO logistics then he want me to pay a charge if the packages is arrive..I need to pay 500AED here then I ask him again why I need to pay that amount..then he answered me it's the manager told him..its true that the receiver need to pay again charges if the packages area arrive? please answer me right away then I will not scam by someone 😔
@Yuuminko2 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't accept the package. Someone wanted to send me a "gift" before but told me I would need €3.000 to pick it up. "But don't worry there is €10.000 in the package illegally". It's easy to make a website with a fake tracking code to lure people into paying. The person sending the package usually pays the amount and that's it. It can be different in some countries and also with sea travel. But I would not believe him. I am sorry to hear.
@Yuuminko2 жыл бұрын
Maybe also ask him to pay for it on your behalf and if he says he cannot, ask him to wire you the money over from paypal or something just to see if he is willing to. If he isn't, then there is your answer.
