rusty shackleford you can play “goalie” all you want, but that shit is never going to get you at actual high ranks in rocket league (is c2 or above). Also, bumping is a perfectly respectful way to get around your bad strategy. It is legal for a reason. I can just tell from the way your talking that your a lower rank with no real mechanical skill.

@@essayedgar I honestly hate this bro my ranks are about D3-C1 and my casual mmr is about the same, every time I get to play with friends that are anywhere from B1-G3 it's extremely unfair for me because I get people pretty close to my skill level let's say D1-D2 (even with me having a bronze teamate). Maybe individually they are not as good as me but can easily crush me by simple rotations and teamwork. I get more annoyed when they're toxic as I can easily whoop them with a good teamate. To sum it up in one line, playing with teamates that aren't close to your skill level isn't fun at all .

However, it is been 2 months and seeing them keeping the pace with plats nowadays, starting to hit aerials and learning about rotations and mechanics made me glad to help them through their development and hopefully we can climb even higher in the future. By now, I believe they are already gold 3, but they may already have become plat 1.

My thought when I hear toxic is randoms (3s or 2s non party). I miss a save and my teammate starts spamming ‘what a save’ over and over and all of a sudden my will to be a teammate for this person diminishes really quickly I would like to see this experiment tried again but with randoms as teammates to see ‘true’ toxic teammate results I’m average at best in standard and doubles, so I don’t even know if getting to grand/champion status is possible with randoms, but I’d like to see how people with no connection to you react when you’re disingenuously being toxic towards them But maybe this won’t matter at all since you’re going solely on your own performance of being successful or not during this experiment Moral of the video: believe in yourself 😂

Sunless this is the best video explaining what I’ve discovered too! The best way to achieve it, I’ve discovered was to completely disable chat. No talking to teammates, not talking to opponents. Also I noticed that sometimes what keeps you going is confidence if you have a strong mindset but no confidence to back it up then you won’t win as much. It’s important to have more confidence than your opponent. If you score the first goal then you get a boost of confidence that you opponent doesn’t. In fact your opponent actually looses at least a little confidence each time you score a goal and you gain confidence with your goals.

This! Nothing against fun-toxic banter between opponents, but getting shit on for being "so bad" by team mates who have about 80 points at the end of the game is really annoying. I realized though, that a lot of it comes down to the (time of) day you're playing. When I play on weekends during the day and in late afternoon on weekdays, there are a lot of toxic kids, but on weekdays after midnight everything is chill. I know that unfortunately not everybody can spare night time for gaming (I work different shifts), but maybe it helps somebody.

I watched this and decided to be a bit toxic for one round. Honestly, I was doing better. Well in the last 2 minutes. I started off, opponent getting 7 goals in 3 minutes. I decided with "wholesome toxicity" I could do better. I gave a couple what a saves and bumps. What a save! Isn't very toxic, but it did affect the other player to the point that they were distracted on getting revenge, other than ignoring it and playing the game. I ended up tying up the game and I won with overtime. Thank you, Sunless
