I know it may seem like you have ass teammates, and you probably do, but when you reach a certain level of skill, you’ll dominate bronze players by yourself and easily rank up. Most of the time, bronze players can’t fly, don’t rotate, whiff a lot, and don’t know how to manage boost. Be aware that they’ll mess up more times than not. That’s what separates plats from silvers and bronze. Now diamond and global ranked players compared to Plats...that’s where you’ll see a real difference in skill. You’ll be fine once you play enough.

Took a break from RL, because it got toxic AF half a year ago and just picked it up again recetly. ALMOST all of my teammates play like this. Don't know if a lot of new players just learn the technical side or that there are more and more younger players, but tactically most players have no idea what to do. They constantly fake going back to goal, do solos when they can pass, ballchase, turn ASAP when they see you going for goal, because they think they could also get it better than you. In almost every game i've played with teammates i have noticed that the average player is just very.. dumb. They always make the dumbest plays and haver no idea what they are doing but have decent mechanics/aim and think that is the only important thing. Meanwhile they have worse gamesense that people that have never even played the game and aren't smart enough to notice.

im normally a diamond 3/champ 1 player but i was playing with my friends a lot and dropped into plat for a bit and i forgot how toxic it is there lol. One little "mistake" (usually their positioning fault) and they start spamming What a save! so whenever they ask to forfeit when were still up just to be toxic, i accept because i know i can easily rank up while theyre stuck in plat lol. makes me feel pretty good rewarding my opponents for not being toxic and feels even better when they message you after the game all pissed off that you accepted the forfeit.

had a teammate tell me to "learn kickoffs" after i won 3 of them in a row and he just went flying from our backboost for them and got beat leaving me to defend a 2v1 with 2 boostpads to my name, then he also told me i was slow which i kind of was because he kept taking all the boost and leaving me in 2v1s where i had to use the boost pads i collected to make saves and had to get back into position to defend the next hit because he went for our corner boost every time. I spammed need boost while i was in net and he was on the backwall, a high shot came in and he didnt go for it and after it went in he spammed "all yours". Even the opponents took pitty on me after my teammate started flaming me and stood up for me. I was 1700 in 2s and he was 1530 in 2s so not that low level either... Had to just quit for the night after that one pffffff
