Although Noah Lyles has dominated the sprinting world over the last 12 months, Justin and Rodney have full faith in Andre De Grasse to show up when it matters the most.

You’re absolutely correct. Many of these new or casual fans of the sport either don’t know, forget, or don’t pay attention to what they see! Andre has always been a huge star with CRAZY top speed that was so freakish that use to make folks think he had to be on some heavy dope, and although he’s often injured and having setbacks, he always shows up in middle of NOWHERE with an upset! Also, DeGrasse is very weird in that he often looks bad early season, little promise, but then he pops up and does his thing in the middle of nowhere. Simply put, DeGrasse can NEVER be counted out…he’s like Elaine when it comes to being ready when it matters!

Thank y’all man for bringing up Andre cause I been telling people that he doesn’t have to have a solid mid season winning streak if he doesn’t want to he just needs to show up when it matters and I think Noah is going to struggle once again when it matters cause Andre a goat nothing less

Gatlin was never an amazing top end speed spinter. He was extremely consistent and a phenomenal starter (0...60m). He was splitting 6.35s like cupcakes in Christmas when in shape.

He seems to be running a tad quicker so far this season than he normally does. He seems to always peak at the right time for big events. Great show guys. Plan on following you guys. Solid analysis.

Degrasse has no chance against Lyles in the 200m. Unless something wrong happens with Lyles.

Wipe your chin. The same DeGrasse has MORE medals than Lyles in the Olympics and when it mattered most he destroyed him, and that was as an injury prone athlete. Olympics is a different animal, and DeGrasse performance at the Diamond League finale proved once again he is a major dark horse.

@@acetofresh1 man, talking to fangirls is tough on either side... Whenever I criticize Lyles, his fangirls attack me, whenever I stand up for Lyles, I get attacked by his haters/or his competitors' fangirls... Mate, as good as Degrasse is, and I love the dude, and I would much rather have him getting a win over Lyles than the other way around, the reality is you have to look at the facts at hands. Lyles can pull off a 19.5s consistently, Degrasse has never even pulled off one single 19.5s. C'mon, man... This is not 2021 Lyles that we are talking about here, Lyles today is focused and can deliver. Sure, anything can happen, but 95% certain Lyles gets the job done and has Degrasse chasing him.

@@Yes_I_c4n i do understand you but gatlin was a sprinter for ike 2 decades no one can say it better than him. I think if degrasse stays healthy he could get close to his 19.62 pb. Knighton could get to 19.5 shape but we dont know. Kenny bednarek is also a contender for medals and he's only 25 years old. But i would be surprised if het gets in 19.5 range. Idk how much tebogo will improve this year but he looks really good so far. And lyles idk man. I dont think he will set a new pb in the 200 this year. I think he will become more like a 100&200 athlete, but he will still be the favorite to me. I also think one of them will choke. I dont know wich one between kenny, knighton, or tebogo will, but degrasse certainly won't as said by gatlin. So to me its 1 lyles, 2 knighton/tebogo 3 kenny/de grasse. But if we factor in people choking just like lyles in the 200 in 2021, i think de grasse (who will perform his best) could grab a silver and very maybe even challenge lyles (unlikely but possible) I think de grasse if healthy and fit will run 19.7 or maybe 19.6. Kenny, unless he imprves will run 19.8 or maybe 19.7. And for knighton and tebogo we will have to wait. Knighton didnt make many improvements from 2022 to 2023, so i think he will run 19.6 (NOT as sb but in the final) and tebogo i have no idea but i think his cieling for this year is 19.4. But i really don't know. But i wouldnt be surpsised if he gets silver. And once aain you cannot count out degrasse. This is me taking the most realistical approach at the final in paris. I like de grasse and i want him to get gold. But if lyles runs like he usually does, he will win an as i explained i think one of kenny tebogo or knighton will choke leaving de grasse with a chance to make the podium.

@@Yes_I_c4n I’m just saying objectively, Lyles has shown he is indeed beatable, and historically DeGrasse has more than not found ways to excel on the big stages. Not a fangirl, just not a fan of people constantly pretending these Americans are unbeatable. None of them are Usain Bolt.
@Yes_I_c4n

@@acetofresh1 In the 200m, Lyles won't likely be beaten, and Degrasse is not the man to do it. Lyles is not Usain Bolt fast, sure, but he is too consistent.
