It's my favorite form of scannerism. I used to do it all the time in las vegas in 2014. It's also fun to scan whatever store you're shopping inside of.

I bring it one time to bullhead City in Laughlin, Nevada which was one of the bestest times for me. I have to say I was listening to the Clark county system and I was surprised that there is not much encryption there no matter what and I want to thank you very much for for asking that question and if you have any more please make sure to do so and I will keep your comment in mind

Sounds like you've got some good radio traffic where you live. Sadly all the police in my area have changed to digital.

Well done video! I have a Bearcat BCD436HP for digital and it works great. I have a Tidradio TD-H3 for the office that can pick up the local analog 911 dispatch traffic. I just did a video about it yesterday, and I'm torture testing it right now. Seems to work a lot better than the Baofeng UV-5R at close to the same price.

best analog scanner would be any kind of scanner best digital scanner is the sds100 and sds200

If you have a dmr lover I would recommend the dm1701 because its really good on using it for the cadino

@@LetsFixITJoe the sds100 and sds200 are the same except the sds100 is a handheld and the 200 is a base mobile. it is kinda expensive but it picks up all digital and analog P25 DMR NXDN and Provoice. and it's the only scanner on the market that can handle simulcast it's made by uniden

Had not. Had one for several years...walking around good will I saw a bear cat 350a...broken antenna...scratches paint spots...good will parted with it for 5 dollars. I wrapped it up and took it home...a friend laffed at it said antique...we will see. First it got all all wx radio... Ham repeaters...local police..eh? Not all went digital. Not for cost ..some digital gets lost in grey alley ways ..same as near factory's for ems. Guess Wally world has walkie talkies. Most stores the same. Its just some want real privacy. I don't need to know. Antique I don't know hihi ...SWL RADIO OP ODN-1
