I took enormous comfort in watching your videos on KZbin in both the Pre-op and now Post-op phases. Dr. Cllavell, I just received my implant in the Dallas area, your videos have been extremely helpful. The top 15 FAQ'S and "What to expect after surgery videos were super appropriate. I have not needed the hydrocodone at all, just Tylenol and Aleve and an ice pack and a jock strap to hold them high and tight. Thanks a million for your insight, BTW we were unable to get the implant covered by insurance and I did send an email inquiry to your office a couple months ago, and did not receive a response. I was able to find a implanter closer to home which makes the office visits easier for follow up. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My surgery is scheduled for October 27 2023. Thank you for your videos as these help greatly reduce stress in this long lead up prep time. Update: My surgery was moved up two days, so today 10/26/23 I am the day after placement of my brand new AMS 700 LGX. Revisiting your video to remind me of your words. Your description of the day after is spot on. My surgeon did not do a nerve block so I was given pain meds yesterday but this morning I’ve only had Tylenol and am doing just fine. It hurts but is tolerable. I did have a catheter but it’s been removed and I’m peeing just fine. Thank you again for your videos as they helped encourage me to get where I am today. Today I have a Brand New Penis that will actually work and give me back my sex life. …Oh and for those wondering about costs, check with your insurance as when I did I found out it was 100% covered with no co-pay. I have a middle of the road plan, nothing special or expensive.

Dr. Clavell, thanks for making this video. I found it beneficial and valuable on several levels. I’m 5wks PostOp with a AMS 700 LGX and recently had my second PostOp visit with my urologist. He did his exam, gave me a few instructions, and finally asked if I had any questions. I did have a couple but I told him that I just watched your video and it provided a wealth of information. He said, fair enough; he recently watched it too and thought it was well prepared. One urological surgeon complimenting another, kudos! Thanks again.

Objective experience: Week1 : start of healing (pain management). Week2-4 : some pain and pain management. Week5: start to cycle. pain and discomfort. Week5-6 : making love like the first time. The more aggressive/intense the process done, the pain and discomfort are proportional (just take Tylenol or ibuprofen). Week7-8: Enjoying the experiences and managing the pain and discomfort. Use underwear with a hole, it will make it comfortable. Week9: continuing the cycling and making love.....pain and discomfort still there. My wife was very satisfied with the result. She will have at least two(2) orgasms in a love-making session before I have my turn. The surgery made my love organ to please my wife then myself. Bye bye ED. Pain and discomfort are manageable. Will provide update after the 3rd month. It seems to be getting longer as the body heals.

3rd month: The benefits/satisfaction outweighed the manageable pain and discomfort. I wish I found him few years earlier. Highly recommended to all men with ED when pills do not work any more.

@@samuelpereira7221 Hi Samuel. Don’t know if you are aware, but you can get advice on the “soft glands” issue post-op. Apparently you can utilise Viagra/Cialis or Vacuum Pump usage to address this problem. The glands, I am told, have their own specific blood supply. If you are having this problem, it can be addressed. Speak to your surgeon about it. It is fixable.

My recovery after your surgical procedure was virtually pain-free. There was some minor discomfort until the stitches dissolved but Tylenol did the job. The ice packs helped greatly to reduce the swelling and bruising to heal. You did an excellent job and we are very pleased with the results. I highly recommend you for solving ED issues.

My surgeon gave me dilaudid for pain and I needed nothing else. I only used it for the first 6 days and after that I used Advil if needed.

Thanks for the informative video, my urologists is a woman and is very sterile and seems uncomfortable discussing my questions and that makes me not want to use her, U seem down to earth and very open and informative. My Ed is severe, with what she said is a valve leakage issue, testosterone and Hgh treatments brought back a little activity but no were near enough for penitrive sex. I would gladly travel to Tx ,to have U do my procedure, Thanks for the great video.

I had testicular cancer and had my left testicle taken out. Is that like the perfect spot for the pump or what? After radiation from my chest to my pelvis my erections are almost nonexistent.... Even with 100mg of sildenafil...I'm seriously considering talking to my doctor in Roswell about having this done.

The worst thing I've ever done!!! My results are horrible at best...I'm less than half of what "WAS" my normal length. It was terrible, my girlfriend is even more disappointed. @@clavelluro Thanks for the response...I did talk to my Dr. and he told me also to wait until I start cycling. I may be jumping the gun but will implants be able to grow 2" just by cycling? I know this doesn't happen overnight either. I was able to achieve an erection with trimix I just didn't like the needle part, took pics and measurements of my erect penis to compare post op. I have a titan 22cm no RTS.

Have a doctor do a doppler ultrasound to determine if you have veinous leakage. Something labwork won't detect. That was my issue. Happily implanted now.

Dr. Clavell, Many thanks for all your informative videos. I am getting a bit desperate for advice here, if you could so kind chime in your thoughts. I had radical prostatectomy(non nerve sparing) back in March this year and I am completely impotent now. My andrologist never mentioned the need to use a pump for exercising my penis and when I asked about it he said there is no good data that supports the use of the pump for rehabilitation. On the other side what I hear is that without using a pump every other day for a few minutes the penis will atrophy and shrink. I am not sure if I want an implant yet as I might ride it out with injections but I would really appreciate if you can let me know whether you believe I need to find a new andrologist. I have been without a single erection for 7 months now. Does one need to use a pump for exercise or not and if yes is this an established recommendation backed by solid data? Thank you so much

Vacuum is well-recommended by most sexmed experts that focus on penile rehab after radical prostatectomy. Not having an erection for months can lead to scar formation: exercising it with a vacuum could help. And if it was non-nervesparing…. Call us, we can help 👍

This is something that is of interest to me, as well. After having two hernia repair surgeries on the same side, as such, I don't think that having a reservoir implanted through that situation would be a wise idea. If it comes down to it. I would opt for the semi rigid implants. Being that they are flexible enough to position similarly to a flacid penis when out and about daily life, it's obvious that it might show a bulge there. However, I am not concerned about that, really whether the bulge shows in my pants next to my leg, or up along my abdomen, properly concealed under my t-shirt/ shirt is fine with me.

Post surgery at 6 weeks I'm still somewhat tender in my scrotum but it's been progress not perfection... I waited to be at 4 weeks to start inflating and deflating... But I'm very happy I got the procedure... my words of wisdom are to NOT rush this process ...wait for the surgical incision to completely heal before you start inflating and deflating... And get a vacuum pump... And take 5 mg of Cialis daily for the trifecta regimen of penis girth and length enhancement... Take the Cialis in the morning... Grease up your penis with some Vaseline... Pump it up to the highest level... Slide into a vacuum pump... You will see the difference as you stretch the skin and rehab your penis back to the original erection you had when you were 18 years old and it had a heartbeat... I'm 59 years old and I had severe Peyronie's disease and lost at least 2 inches in length... Now I'm back to where I used to be... But it's all about work and daily regimen... Remember you have to put work into this like anything else in life 😎

I'm all for the narcotics for a few days, why are you so against it? Have scheduled the implant surgery in May and I will be given Hydrocodone to manage pain. Am on blood thinner Warfarin and cannot take Ibuprofen. You should mention that as a warning in your video, hence I cannot trust your advice!
