The Red Bat is an original superhero my friends and I made films about when we were kids. In honor of it, I've made this fake Netflix main title sequence in After Effects to practice my compositing skills. I owe a lot of credit to Video Copilot for providing the tutorial I used to create the textured symbols (linked above). Let me know what you think!

Disclaimer: I owe a lot of my work here to a Video Copilot tutorial (linked in the description) I followed to create the textured symbols. They aren't 3D models, but rather 2D images made to look 3D. I haven't gone to the dark side completely! I'm still supportive of HitFilm and recommend it to people interested in VFX compositing. I plan to make a video comparing AE and HF soon and talk about the pros and cons of each. Funnily enough, JT is actually the friend who introduced me to HitFilm around 7 years ago. The names don't match up with the symbols because some of us played multiple characters, so I can see why this would be a bit confusing lol
