Alright, as someone who has been in several times, lives near it and had a stepdad who is a part of the Wessex caving club I can tell you theres a few misleading facts here.... 1. The UFO research was done at the Rudloe Manor camp which is abandoned near the mines but has nothing to do with them. 2. The military do not own box mines but a quarry company called Hansen does and they seal up any breaches in to the mines because of people getting lost in them and causing problems that could cost the company. 3. At 12:53 in and the crane they are looking at was used in a hardcore porno where the woman got tied to it. 4. the tools they find are not 200 years old like one person suggested but about 100 years old as the mines were shut down in 1919 due to WWI and during WWII the MOD bought many of the old mines in the area and used they for munitions storage and making but most were sold off, one is now used to store wine and another used to house servers but the Burlington bunker was transformed into a Nuclear bunker for the government which was never used and run down but they cleared the asbestos not too long ago in the hopes of selling it which I dont think they managed to in the end but the red doors dont link directly to a bunker but another quarry called the Groundstone quarry which was turned into a bunker which I'm told is still used by the MOD today. 5. At 26:29 the support beam they find blocking the path was used by the miners to seal off the passage... At the end of that path is a dead end but has a deep hole that you dont want to fall down. It's cool but scary. I'm guessing because EWF posted a video on the mines trying to get to the Rudloe site bunker, the MOD probably felt they needed to repair the holes to stop idiots trying to break into the place and 28 days later weren't happy... The thing about 28 days later are they are a secretive group who actually break into old mines or bunkers and they know that loud mouths have gotten many places blocked up and I'm guessing thats why they hate EWF. As I said previously, the red doors dont lead to Burlington bunker which is currently disused but leads to an active MOD bunker which is known as Rudloe site 2 which isnt to do with the manor per se but they did move to site 2 and is housed in the old Groudstone quarry which is fairly small compared to the other quarrys around it but was connected up to the Burlington bunker which is in Spring quarry. There is a more direct route to Burlington if they were to get through the first blocked entrance they went to... The one with the flooded tunnel which the guys didnt seem to know because it's walled off but basically, If you get past the barricade you'll end up continuing down the tunnel until you see a thick blast door on your right... This leads to nothing according to the old maps but its strange that it's there. Once past that the tunnel will fork off, to the left of the fork was sealed up but there was another hole you could squeeze through and down there is the other red door that leads to Rudloe site 2 and if you carried on down the tunnel you'll find a bricked wall with cement and the metal fencing mixed into the concrete... But beyond that is Burlington bunker.

Either way... It has to be strongly noted that these new barricades were added, and that CAMERA is no ordinary camera... Nor are it’s capabilities and the simple fact that it’s there w/ the electricity and communications capabilities to reach whatever office it goes to. If it’s cellular, then I’m assuming cell phones worked for these explorers in the tunnels?? If it’s NOT cellular, then it has to comm via the internet using WiFi or a direct Ethernet connection... If it’s WiFi, the “router” has to be very close to this unit in order to transfer the data packets at the speed needed to transmit such a high quality feed. The camera also appeared to possibly be a PTZ which requires even more data packets for live remote control. If it’s hardwired, that wire run can only go but so long before it suffers drop/offs in its speed & quality as is the case with any wire carrying any current... so with either option, the main source of that internet connection has to be within 20-350(?)Feet? Maybe 500 feet with a high speed wire? I’d say that’s an awful lot of work to go thru to protect something that isn’t high value...

I used to get down here regularly. There was a big hole in the grill then, and you could also get through the grill next to the barbed wire. We named that part "Windy Passage". The main passage I named "Heart attack Alley". The link between the two routes, we named "Reassurance passage". These names (and a lot more) from my map have been adopted by quite a few people. The last time I reached the red door, the camera was gone...… just a cable hanging down. There's another red door down Windy Passage on the right-hand side which is cemented shut.... at the end of Windy Passage is a brick wall. You can hear a fan behind it; maybe the same fan that's behind the other red door.

Man, I would love to see studies/research done on this area. Some of those stone columns are just....intriguing to say the least. Raises quite a few questions. The similarities to some other areas on earth is astounding. If I had to come up with something off the top of my head, looks like someone stumbled upon something much bigger than themselves. Then made a stern attempt to “clear” it out, examine it, and ultimately build a base to study what was found. The contrasts in the stonework here is quite stark. So much we don’t know. Hopefully one day, we as a species will publicly start asking these very questions. The ones hidden from our sight. Hopefully.

The place is riddled with asbestos and black mould. The barriers prior to the red doors are easy. Alot of people make the trip down there purely to see the doors, in the process causing access problems for Hanson, so removing the ability to get to the famous red door and its lesser known partner 'submarine door' lessens the reasons for people going in there except actual mine explorers. The main red door, with the camera doesn't even lead into Burly per se. It leads into Tunnel Quarry which is still very much active. The submarine door does lead straight into Burly, but it's sealed up well and good and has been for years. Pretty sure it's actually backfilled behind it.

There is a place now owned by "Gilby Vintners" at the top of goods hill near neston, on the way to corsham,when we were kids it was an old mod place, and the tunnels there go right under corsham and towards box tunnel and across to Whitley quarry, we used to play down there its very easy to get lost, we used to take a ball of sting with us to find our way back, apperently in box tunnel there is a place for the queen to be kept safe in the event of war, all those tunnels are linked, and no doubt they are linked to the tunnels you are now in, they go under box woods so i have told, there is so much to explore under there you could never do it all.
