The depth of field on those old cameras was fantastic - Ansel Adams' famous photos of Yosemite were taken with them - from near to far was perfectly in focus.

Been to the tower many times. Just across the Niagara River from Buffalo, NY. My best friend and college roommate lives 20km from this tower. Ontario Peninsula is a fabulous place to visit. Good wines as well.

The dial-up Internet joke was good, though in my experience, phone calls always disconnected the Internet automatically. This was a particular problem if you were playing a game like Myst III: Exile, which froze up if you opened Windows while playing it, since you would usually get a prompt to reconnect to the Internet shortly after it was disconnected by the phone.

Did you onow that if you hold a chickens head and draw a straight line on the ground it will hypnotize the chicken. The chicken relaxes and just lays there until the line is erased. Wild stuff and theres a video of it out there if you look.

Brock’s Monument is in Queenston, Ontario. It is indeed from the War of 1812, but it is located in the Niagara region, along the Niagara River. Laura Secord was also involved warning the redcoats that the Americans had crossed the river. Brock lost his life in the battle. I know. I have passed it a gazillion times on my way to Niagara-on-the-Lake.

It is Brock’s Monument in Queensland, Ontario. It is along the Niagara River. It was a battle in the War of 1812 and featured Laura Secord who alerted the redcoats that the Americans had crossed the river. Brock lost his life in the battle. Lovely setting. I have been there many times. The best part of the trip is you end up in my favorite place, Niagara on the Lake.
