Man I hadn’t seen this in so long. This is pure nostalgia to me. Wen I was like 7-10 at the old beach house my aunt had it only had a few channels on the old black and white tv and this would come on and I had never seen it back home in pa, which was weird cuz I was only in Delaware at time. But yeah I loved going there not for the beach, but for the cool breezy nights watching this show on a crappy tv in the mid 90s. I’m so glad it kept going and got sooo much better! I love it!!!

Ed’s rusty car... Ontario winter-beater. I had a Buick Skyhawk that literally fell to rusty pieces all at once. Tank fell out, engine mounts let go and the trunk pan and floor pan let go... all at the same time!?! Love Ontario’s salted roads.

Unfortunately they were eventually going to run out of good ideas, especially since they cram so many into every episode, and season 15 was starting to show signs of stretching, and who knows how line they would have been able to keep the main core together, especially Patrick McKenna. Better to end on a high note rather than die a slow and painful death that will ultimately hurt the shows legacy.

A children's author wrote a book, each chapter a story about Homer ... damn, can't remember the kids last name nor the author. In one episode two men have been courting a maiden lady for years. All 3 collect string. The men finally decide to find out who should quit courting by unrolling their string balls at the county fairground horse track. The lady shows up with her ball of string too. The kicker is that she wins, because she's wearing a knitted outfit and it's tied to her ball of string. While she's walking and unrolling her ball her dress is slowly unravelling. (Properly, she has another dress underneath.) She wins! The only one who notices is the kid Homer. Just remembered: Homer Price.

3:06 that makes me think of some people in my hometown Pierre South Dakota who have a old steam boat and yeah it just went under water but they got it out right away. They made several mistakes like at first not having a dock for the big boat or needing some work on the boat when it got hear as at one point it was slight damage during the move of the boat on land at one point to get around some dams on the Missouri river.
