I grew up watching a handful of Red Green episodes and moved to Michigan from Minnesota last year and could tell a subtle difference in the accent and when I heard that Red Green (Steve Smith) was doing his one man show in Grand Rapids I realized that the Michigan accent reminded me of this show. It kind of makes sense because Michigan is just west of southern Ontario, where they're from (I looked it up because I was curious).
