I was a little star struck I remember as a kid laying on the basement floor watching the show and to stand there and shake his hand was friggin awesomer then frig! Truly an inspiration for me and the videos I make. Id love to do a gorilla tape video with him one day.. hope you got that back window fixed in your car Red!

@jonhohensee32585 жыл бұрын
It wouldn't be filmed then.
@northernsnow6982 Жыл бұрын
@@jonhohensee3258how about if the film was attached to duct tape? It would be filmed and on duct tape. Besides just because you say, you're going to film a video, it doesn't necessarily mean you are using film, or it's on video. The video could be filmed on digital media, making it not truly a video or film. As a freaky side note, if you pull regular sticky tape off of the roll at 3 cm per second, it will create enough energy to produce an x-ray image of the bones in your finger. I shit you not! This is actual fact, according to a university somewhere in California. It was a theory for a long time, and was studied in the university's lab. The x-ray burst only lasted one billionth of a second, however tape itself can create x-rays images. Doesn't that sound insane? I had to read the article a couple times to believe it myself. It has been reported by many reliable sources, so it must be true.
@jonhohensee3258 Жыл бұрын
@@northernsnow6982 To film something SHOULD mean that film is used. But people get sloppy with language and the word "film" is used wrongly. It's inaccurate, muddles the language, and can cause confusion. It's like pencils. A lot of people think that pencils have lead. They don't. They have graphite. But people think they have lead because the wrong word was slipped in there.
@northernsnow6982 Жыл бұрын
@@jonhohensee3258I doubt you'll bother to read this, but here goes. Everyone knows that the lead in a pencil is made of graphite. We are taught that as elementary school kids, so it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone with knowledge. Why is the word lead, only a problem for you because of the materials in a pencil? What about the fact it can also mean, to be the head of a team, or to direct a group? Or, it can just apply to the lead star of a show. It can also be a string/rope that you direct something with. So many other definitions that are way different, compared to the two types of filling, in a pencil, both of which make markings on paper. Film; It also can be just a film ontop of liquid, or on your teeth. It doesn't even have to do with filming a video. As a matter of fact, the word was used before a video was ever filmed, so it's not the original term for the word. Meaning at least according to you, the word was already muddled, when used to describe a video on film. Is it too much to ask, for a definition to have two or more meanings? Maybe you should create new words, for every word that has more than one meaning, and make sure it's for every single one of them. So what should we call capturing images on, ribbons of material? Then what do we call it when it's done digitally? Since English is your expertise, making a crap ton of new words should be no problem. Also, what about the word video? It also shouldn't be used, as per the original definition. Then there the fact of x-rays being captured on sticky tape. You completely blew over that interesting fact, that tape can infact create and store x-ray images. Ontop of that, why aren't you concerned by that type of tape, being called duct tape? It is literally one of the only things you can't use duct tape for, as it isn't actually metal ventilation tape. Then there's just the word tape by itself. It can mean a long narrow strip of material, for many different uses. It can mean to fasten, or can can simply mean to record onto something. It comes from the word taper, which is to get narrow. Then there's the word fuck. You can say; I can't believe what in the fuck(in this case representing an area, like "world" or "hell")this moron is going on about. I hope this guy is just fucking(in this case it means messing around) with me, and they aren't that idiotic. Then there are many derogatory was to use the word. Like it can represent the act of sex, or can can just call someone that word. It's great that you recently learned that filming, was at one point done on film. You should try and learn all of it's definitions, as to not be confused in the future. Or is that too much to ask, too? Sorry did I confuse you by using two different definitions of too? One was too much, and the other was also? If you don't like how hard English is to understand, learn a new language. Stop using English. As for English humans, there are many ways, they're going to mess up their language. Just as we have done in the past. Ok, I'm done taking my morning crap. So I wipe myself of it and all your shit, that you're going on about. Bye.
@northernsnow6982 Жыл бұрын
@@jonhohensee3258 a short version to make sure, you get it. The word "film", was used for a membrane on the surface of something, long before it was used to film a video. 🤯 Oh, and that would mean only the membrane holding the chemicals on of a roll of film is actually film, according to the unmodified definition.
