songs like this are the reason pop/punk, emo, rock, and metal bands have such loyal fanbases. many of them sing about real and deep issues that help us get out our feelings and frustrations. and yeah, there are a lot of serious lyrics under the happy sounding music. it’s 100% ok to rock out to them. we all do 💜

I know these guys. They're from my hometown. I used to play in a band that would open for them at all their hometown shows, and we recorded our first cd in the same studio where they recorded their ep got got them signed. Ronnie, their lead singer even did guest vocals on one of our songs just because he happened to be in the studio while we were recording. They're all really cool guys.

If I needed to get mad before a game and wanted to get my blood pumping, this was the song. 9/10 it would be any other genre besides this one…but if it was game day, this was the track The album version has an intense scream-o solo at the end that was deemed too harsh for the music video
