This video shows step-by-step how I captured the data for my widefield Lagoon and Trifid Nebulae shot using an unguided star tracker (Sky Watcher Star Adventurer Mini or S.A.M.) with the @svbony3514 SV503 70ED telescope and a @zwoastronomycameras6901 ASI294MC Pro. I cover planning, setup for backfocus, balancing, and acquisition including Polar alignment and plate-solving to find the target using Nighttime Imaging N' Astronomy software or N.I.N.A.
Have you ever watched a nebula set on the horizon? Watch this video too see it happen!
