What a tournament for the Red Roses! Instances of individual brilliance, but all founded on cohesive, fast, imaginative, brave teamwork. They've never been better. Can't wait to be back at Twickenham with the granddaughters in September and then more wonderful rugby to come next year and the World Cup. A sell-out final at Twickenham for the Red Roses . . . what a fantastic prospect!

Got my tickets last night for NZ. Not over the moon about the hike in prices, but we knew it was coming. They should really be throwing tickets at schools rather than raising prices - first week back to school, that whole top tier is not open (yet?) would be awesome to actually fill it.

@@hamblyl I've just got my tickets too for NZ. You're right about the price hike on the adult tickets. Almost twice what I paid for the Ireland fixture. The head of the RFU said he thought the tickets were 'too cheap' a few weeks ago and it seems like the trend is going to be up from now on. Hoping for a great day and a Roses win in September.

@@robinholland1136 Thats a shame,the womens game has always tried to have the broader appeal ,increasing tickets tariffs will spoil that,particularly for family groups.Greedy suits running the game.

I'm looking forward to the games against France and the Black Ferns later in the year, shame there's no Canada game after they toppled the Black Ferns at the PAC 4! Next year's WC is going to be tasty

I'm sorry, but what chance has any other team got when England has arguably the most lethal back 3 strike force, with a team full of players that can score from anywhere, pretty much at anytime? Ladies you are awesome and are the best in English sport, male or female.

Meg Jones really had a great six nations. As much as I rate Emily Scarret, I can't help but think she's got her work cut out if she wants the number 13 shirt back.

A great series of 6 nations for the Red Roses,however they looked a little fragile on the edges during the Grand Slam game against France,young Jess Breach will need to be more aggressive than that performance,she's likely to be facing 'Black Ferns Va'haakolo in coming games.
@mikebarnard79575 ай бұрын
2:46 yes . I'm a avid fan of Jess but I agree she missed a tackle against the French that being more aggressive and low she might have made. I'm sure she is aware and will strive to improve that area to make her play even more spectacular.

"young Jess Breach" - a nice compliment, but she's 26. Will Va'haakolo see much ball?

@@lotus2430I totally agree, Jess is yet a baby, maybe a grizzled old veteran in the rugby world, but a baby nonetheless. I also agree, I am not convinced she has the fangs to really commit heavy solo tackles. And I have noticed in the last few encounters with the Black Ferns, England doesnt even attempt to play any of that outside speed game. Instead they concetrate most of their effort on grinding away with their inside forwards. So, its all the more important that the NZ speed game is shut down on the edge. Kildunne has come along way and she is a solid tackler, and the legendary 'Black' Dow can shut her side down. Can Breach?

@@caseyhart4406 Its a good question,Elle has developed into a devastating attacking weapon,but she cant be everywhere,its going to be a great series,with the Black Ferns visiting.
