I'm probably gonna piss everyone off here, but I actually LOVE that they didn't go all-out with the redemption of Mr. Puzzles. He's sympathetic yes, but his backstory doesn't excuse his actions. In fact, I love that he faces consequences. He had a second chance after his initial defeat in the Puzzlevision movie. And instead of trying to be better and earn fame in a more healthy way, Puzzles just doubled down and kept doing the same insane schemes over and over again. Even if you disagree with me, you have to admit that Mr. Puzzles had the chance to be better after Puzzlevision. He just either didn't recognize it or was too far gone like he is now.

It was still pretty clear he hadn't learned a thing and was going to keep doing the same old thing when he mentioned turning the SMG4 show into his own show. Meggy going into his head in Wotfi 2024 may have convinced him to stop focusing on fame and fortune, but it's clear he won't be redeemed or forgiven. Especially with the last scene of him in the prison/asylum talking to Leggy 2.0 about wanting revenge on those who wronged him (the SMG4 crew).

I disagree with this theory. I think that Mr puzzles would never want to leave the prison/asylum since (what I presumed to be ....) Leggy is now inside Mr Puzzles head. Mr Puzzles would have no reason to go out since he can go do adventures with Leggy in his TV world. The only way that I could see Mr Puzzles getting out of prison is by the SMG4 crew needing his help for some reasons (Still a good video btw good job)

My Theory: Mr. Puzzles, while still being insane, would be broken out by the next villain, who would destroy the Leggy 2.0 plush on accident or purpose... and ends up making an Enemy of Mr.Puzzles... he doesn't become a full Ally of the SMG4 Crew until towards the end of that arc... where he's forced to ally with them... and his sanity slowly returns overtime, he's still somewhat insane, but he ends off as coherent and reasonable... just with some more controllable and less dangerous insanity outbursts when stressed...

Honestly, for all simplicity, I believe that Mr. Puzzles definitely had the interrupting backstab punch from Mario towards the end of this WOTFI coming for him rightfully and with good reasoning - he had traumatised, tormented and dead ringed the gang from beginning of his saga in the show to its end. He had it all coming for him all along like a good lesson of karma. However, comparing him to Niles and his own father (the Niles reincarnate), I can state this with solid evidence: He can be redeemed, he is still a villain in the script boundaries. Puzzles is not like Niles who is primarily a monster who harmed entire universes for his own selfish chase of perfection, Puzzles is just a madman harmed and led into villainy by his dad, he is a madman who is a lost soul. Sure, he and Niles had similar goals revolving around perfection and Puzzles was chasing fame like a clumsy guy who let the fame corrupt him after his father figure abusing him, but Puzzles is still a guy in the script boundaries while Niles is pure, unfiltered embodiment of darkness and evil held by our humankind.

Tbh I would love for him to be in that prison while the crew deal with another threat, so like keep him in there till another season for his return. The one threat I can think of what will be next would be peach as shes still down there in that pit, who knows what has happened to her at this point, the only thing we can remember was that castle being infested as well as peach thanks to that keyboard smg4 used. it's possible she mutated ever more than when we last saw her

It be cool if Mr. Puzzles actually started going to therapy or something (offscreen, not like as an actual episode. Possibly as a cameo in the background). It would help him possibly see the errors of his way, get out his anger without resorting to revenge, and possibly have a redemption without it feeling forced. But that's just what I think.

To be stolen by someone who doesn't know what true art is, someone who takes one look or hear and decides to destroy it all, the same one that controls everyone to follow HIS script for each episode, the one who is willingly to put people into danger just for making content... The same one that once started off as nothing like Mr Puzzles. And they do not want anyone else to take that spotlight from them. And that's not right.
