Oversimplified to just call 'em The Clash goes Motown or Motown goes Punk, these guys hammered out a niche in that giant invisible boulder we call Rock, like handholds for us to grab and pull ourselves up to a higher level, or really just that level we should all be leveling on. Start with The Original Delaney and Bonnie and Friends (Accept No Substitute) lp and segue into this and it's like being on acid immersed in a sensory deprivation tank where the psyche's States are Altered and yer soul Plims everywhere at once.
