@@ordro107 i wouldn't normally call that one a red because his leg isn't stretched in the same way both of Kovacic's were, yet with the statement that PGMOL made just after the incident with MLS that ''studs higher than at ankle height is a straight red'' it's clearly a red and so i don't get why neither Gomes, Bernado or the Wolves player who studded Martinelli's thigh wasn't reds. sure the Martinelli one wasn't bad at all and there were no speed or force in it but when you say the rules are as objectively clear as that then surely it goes under this catagory because 1 it was studs and 2 it was above the ankle.. Far above the ankle. Also how the f was the Flying Karate knee kick on Endo not a straight red either, so much more dangerous and uncontrolled than the MLS one, and was not just 1 red as he clearly tackled through the ball with zero regard for his opponent meaning violent conduct as even though he got the ball he would still always fly oncontrollably into Endo with a big possibility of injurying him, could have easily broken a rib or had the knee hit the jaw or neck which it was very close to, it could have been very serious but yeah should have been two because he does the exact same, with his elbow, jumping uncontrollably and makes a follow through with both his arm and elbow hitting endo in the head when there were no need to jump into that in that way and had he hit slightly different it could also have been serious. Not to mention the Joelinton one.. wtf, if people think the MLS one was a red then they must think that Joelinton litterately tried to kill onuachu and that wasn't even shown a yellow!! MENTAL they have completely lost the plot and game..

Michael Oliver has his own interpretation of the plain text of the rules and regs. This week he was trying to argue any tackle above the ankle is a straight red if he wants it to be. Small point of physiology - almost all of the leg is above the ankle, theres nothing much below it! By this reasoning would stamping the opponent’s foot be a legal tackle? As usual, don’t go to the ref if you want to know meanings of words. Why isn’t Oliver on the whistle full time in Saudi Arabia? I’m sure the PAY is good (there’s a word Oliver does know the meaning of).

Let's collectively suck it up, it's never going to be 100% because yellow to orange to red is grey. We the fans are also the most biased jury.
